    1. It's not always a good thing coming in part way through a series. It wasn't a big deal and I had not problem following the story and picking up the thread of the other members of the family who had gone before. The Kolovsky series is a mix of Medical and Presents stories based around the Kolovsky family who have a designer clothing empire. This is the story of Aleksi and his PA Kate. Aleksi and Kate have known each other for five years and are almost friends.Things change when Aleksi is in a car [...]

    2. This was a hard read for me. You know from previous books, especially the last one, that there is something seriously wrong with Aleksi (besides the injuries from the terrible crash). His PA, Kate, was described as a rather large woman. In this book, Aleksi is recovering from the accident with Kate's help, but now he's facing the destruction of the House of Kolovsky from an unexpected quarter and tries to enlist Kate's help.(view spoiler)[ I really didn't like the way he & the others treated [...]

    3. This book was just not up to what I would expect from Ms. Marinelli. Where do I begin? The hero was an alpha jerk whom I barely tolerated. The heroine was okay. Her kid made her redeemable. The families were just a joke.I just didn't like this one for a myriad of reasons: characters, storyline, the conflicts, etc.I did weep for the hero and his siblings. No one should have to endure an obviously psychopathic father and alcoholic mother.

    4. Aleksi meets Kate who appears to be curvy. Not sure what their definition of curvy is, but I’m guessing she is larger than other hs. Kate is pregnant w/ OM’s child when she and Aleksi meet. He likes her calming effect and even goes out of his way to be overly nice to her. Fast forward several years, and Kate is working for him and his PA – implies trust as she does risk her job to give him information! He has been in a horrible car accident and working on healing while his mother is runnin [...]

    5. Uhhh d:|I'm really not sure how I feel about this story. I liked that CM created a h that was strong, curvy and a mom whose child did not belong to the H, and she put her child first. Additionally, CM gave us a convincing look at how very selfish and dysfunctional the Kolovsky family life was. I'll even admit she did a good job of creating a tortured H the problem. I just didn't like. Aleski. Tortured, control freak heroes with trust issues aren't a rare breed with HP, but this H was all that, p [...]

House of K [...]

    7. I don't often pick up a Harlequin book let alone buy one because they are normally so fast paced they are unrealistic. This book however was a pleasant surprise. The author did a wonderful job with the pacing to make it not out of the question for the two main characters to enter into such an arrangement. Aleksi is definately an alpha male and in many ways reminds me of a Russian male I happen to know, so everything about his personality was completely believable to me. And his family was absolu [...]

    9. Hmm where to begin? It really was a good book. There was some faltering here and there. The heroine was great and so was her daughter. The parents of the Kolovsky clan, Ivan and Nina, should be locked up and never aloud in the general public for anything. The atrocities they heaved upon their children made for some pretty messed up adult lives as I've seen in Levander, Iosef, and now Aleksi's book. No one deserves the crap these children had to put up with and to know that this probably goes on [...]

    10. Seriously warped Russian family that designs wedding dresses in Australia? But some of the kids are adopted? I'm really confused. The whole plot and familial relationships are confusing about the Kolovsky family. Aleksi's personal assistant Kate is just trying to hold her head above water and not drown in the mess of Kolovsky Family vitriol and revenge. And eventually, she does in the way of Aleksi's anger, even though she and her daughter are innocent.

    12. I think I miss something I'd like to know more about what happened after what Aleksi said to his brother I mean, you just don't do what he did and then everything it's okay. I think the end was so fast I need more description.

    13. 2 Stars. Meh. There was a lot going on, and there was potential, but it was not handled well and the constraints on the length made it all rushed. I didn't feel like any of the story threads were planned and portrayed well. Overall, a disappointment.

    14. This one was good, but not great. The female main character was described as "chunky" but honestly, if she's wearing a bikini, she's not chunky. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

    15. Enjoy reading this. Love the characters. Wanna know more of the Kolovsky's brothers & sister.Recommend it!

    16. Well, this book is boring. Heroine is no doormat, ok. But hero is not like-able. I have finished it, but wil not re-read it.
