    1. - This book is more than I expected. I'm not sure why I keep going into Matinee Romances books expecting certain things that align more with things I dislike. But for one book I gave 1 star to, in this line, most books that bear the brand 'Matinee Romances' on their cover have been books I've given high ratings to. Weird, that. And what is 'Matinee Romances'? I really have no idea. I assume it is some kind of 'imprint' of Bold Strokes Books, but don't imprints get the 'glory' of being listed as [...]

    2. Another rote lesbian romance novel featuring two impossibly attractive women, described constantly as "hot" or beautiful, yet lacking in certain attractive qualities (two scenes in particular I can think of where at least one of them quietly mocked/looked down upon the less than hot/beautiful. For me this was all very been there, done that. The setting may have been the best part, yet it's a completely missed opportunity as nothing was really even described other than the beach and hotel. It's H [...]

    3. could have been four stars BUT the ending was waaaay to abrupti mean after all that, all i know is: 1.)a month has past, 2.)breaker has caught a plane & 3.)Elizabeth greets her with a smile!!! really? shhesh! i'm in deniall of my book didn't print-that's what i'm telling myself.

    4. Finished this one this morning. Man great book it took a lot for both women to except one another even after the past Colby believed would not ever be able to find someone who made her feel comfortable till Elizabeth showed up. I love the understanding they both had but after the truth cam out it was Colby who had to take those steps. It was a great book well told but the ending well it could have gone a little further ended a little better but in all amazing book.

    5. EndingThe book was great. Ending sucked . Why do you writers like to chop off endings like u do. Cant by us show the happiness after they get back together. It would have been a five if not for the ending.

    6. When Elizabeth takes a 10 week vacation from her stressful job as a College Principle and her life as a buttoned up and repressed History professor, all she has planned is a schedule of research for her first foray into writing literature. She doesn’t expect to fall into the thrall of the incredibly attractive Breaker (as in heart-breaker) within 24 hours of arriving on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. But as well as being drop dead gorgeous, fun, interesting and sexy as hell, Breaker, aka [...]

    7. Well, not one of the best, but still a very enjoyable read with a classical scenario: one looses a lover and is afraid of falling in love with anybody and actually just open to people; the second an careerist who never has time for anyone. It’s quite a short read, only for a few hours, very easy, pages just kept turning by themselves. The whole story is set into a very friendly Hawaiian setting and wonderfully detailed same as the characters, which I really liked. There isn’t much to not to [...]

    8. Liked the storyI'm not sure what made this story so special. The romance? The setting in beautiful Maui? Both? Perhaps all of the above. The two characters Colby and Elizabeth were so compelling in their attraction for each other. This was a well written story. Well done!

    9. Cheap literature. Crashing end.It seems one of the novels that my mother bought for pennies. Nothing new under the sun.

    10. I quite enjoy lesbian pulp, when it's good - well written with a nice plot. This book doesn't have either. Not really worth your time, there's so many better books available in this genre.

    11. ¿Qué estás haciendo? ¿Qué está pasando aquí? Un minuto estás encima de mí y al siguiente estás huyendo.
