    1. Epic romance with incredibly well-developed characters that you can't help but love. I bought this little treasure at a garage sale and it will forever remain in my collection. Sweet, beautifully written love story.

    2. With over 600 pages this was one long book. Brenna Kildare (no milk and water miss)is one 'different' heroine and at times I admired her tenacity while at others I could have sreamed, why? In the round this is not an upbeat novel but there are serious issues which all characters encounter throughout. We first meet the heroine as a child of 10 or so, she is the daughter of hardworking parents who are not considered the cream of society.
