    1. This book is set in my home island. I read this in college, but I cannot remember most of it to rate fairly. I will have to re-read.

    2. A well-written book that transports you to a different setting. A good depiction of dysfunctional rich Filipino families.

    3. Used this for my book journal in my Phil Lit class. If only I read this straight, I would have probably enjoyed it! But yeah, the book's a nice piece of work rich in macabre gossip and sarcasm. I still don't get the point of the ending though.

    4. A sad tale indeed. Lots of families have their bones in their closets. The torrecarions they have a mass grave in theirs.
