    1. Wow. I cannot believe that I cried so strongly from reading a children's book, but this is absolutely beautiful. At the back of the book is a letter from Lee Strobel, an author that I have started coming across more and more often explaining the importance of this book to him written by his daughter and her husband. The story line is incredible and touching. A relationship between a grandfather and his grandson on a journey of finding God in the world around him. Artistry from Cory Godbey is so [...]

    2. I have to confess. I'm an idiot. When I was offered this book for review, it never even occurred to me why the title sounded so familiar. It wasn't until after I read the book to my daughters, Coco and Lulu, and 2 of our neighbors who were over for the afternoon, and I saw the afterword by Lee Strobel, that I remembered. Strobel – as in Alison Strobel Morrow. As in the author of The Weight of Shadows: A Novel, a book that I reviewed on my website. This awesome book is written by one of my favo [...]

    3. That’s Where God Is is a great example of how important grandparents are to their grandchildren. Now only to nurture and love them, but to also explore God with them. I really liked the fact that the grandpa didn’t spoon-feed his grandson as to where God is. He allowed the boy to learn while searching out the answer for himself, while I’m sure Grandpa was praying.Ali and Dan’s book shows the homey touch of the boy’s home with his mom, siblings, a cat, and a dog; the young boy’s outin [...]

    4. Fantastic book for family devotion time. Helps children to understand that God is with us where ever we may go. I love the fact that you can see God shine through individuals and experiences. Beautiful illustrations as well.

    5. What an absolutely wonderful book! At the beginning of the story, he asks his grandpa where God is, and is told to look for Him over the next week. From the playground and home to the zoo – and even in a storm – a little boy discovers that God is everywhere. The book ends after he tells his grandfather of his discoveries, and his grandfather leads him to invite God into his heart. What an absolutely wonderful, natural way to help introduce children to the notion of having God in their hearts [...]

    6. This is a precious picture book written to help parents talk to their child about God. Where is God and how can I find him? This story starts out with a young boy sitting on his Grandpa’s lap asking him about God.His Grandpa discusses the topic of God and he challenges the boy to look for God this week and report back to him what he finds. The little boy is excited about this mission his Grandpa has him on. He’s earnestly starts his search of God. Where can he find him? Since his eyes have b [...]

    7. This is a special book. I love that this book gets right down to the brass tacks of salvation and the reality of God's presence and sovereignty in our world. It is appropriate for age 3, and will remain age-appropriate, I think, for many years. The artwork is not my favorite, however, the story surpasses the quality of the art to such an extent that I still give this one five big stars.
