    2. One of the reasons I love this so much is it's not just about the beauty of love. It does an amazing job of showing the dark side, too, how love can give people tunnel vision and cause them to act selfishly. I don't want to give anything away, but I'm always glad when an author can write characters that are believable in their flaws and still make me root for them.The writing has a modern flavor which might not appeal to some, but I don't mind it.
