    1. I wasn't a big fan of this graphic novel. The pictures didn't do the story justice. It adaptation of the "Nancy Drew" series in graphic novel was a mistake. The illustrator didn't do the story justice and the novel was broken up into two different books. It should have been just one graphic novel. I would not suggest this book to anybody to read.

    2. The story takes place in Turkey where Nancy has accompanied her father. His client is a woman named Alda Oktar and she's in bad financial shape. This is the second part of the Secret Within story. The crooks come back, of course. It seems that one of them is obsessed with finding treasure, yet the other one seems to be equally obsessed with finding some kind of ancient mechanical device. Eventually everybody ends up in the city under the basement. There are two main problems for Nancy and the oth [...]

    3. The story continues from the Night of the Living Chatchke. Nancy’s sleuthing leads to the discovery of a lost city buried under Mr. Drew’s client’s estate. Her sleuthing also leads the three of them to be kidnapped. The kidnappers were hired by Harland Severino to find a lost, priceless artifact. And one of the kidnappers is someone Nancy met during one of her earlier cases! Can Nancy stop the kidnappers and get rescued before it is too late? (This is book two of “The Secret Within”.)

    4. This book wasn't as good as the last one in the series I read. I'm not sure if that's due to my reading the books out of order or something else, but I'm not a fan of the "Oh, let's introduce a bad guy as someone I knew in the past and then give his backstory" literary device, and this book definitely falls into that category.
