    1. My mom got this for me for Christmas, which shows you how rad my mom is. Classic Guitars is a pictoral examination of classic acoustic, electric and hollowbody electric guitars throughout the instrument's history. There is a beautful photo of each guitar as well as brief descriptions. Carter does an excellent job describing the instruments and includes interesting trivia about the people who designed, built and played each one.
