    1. This book has deep down grunt that gives the storyline a rich and meaningful foundation. Corporate greed. The making of a psychopathic killer. Corruption. Murder. Cruelty. Love and loyalty. An epic idea in the suicide seed technology. Everything builds inch by inch. Slowly and relentlessly. Like multiple angles to the same force that explodes in the final chapters. An intriguing setting in 3rd world Africa. Great characters, both the good guys and the bad. And a wonderful dog hero that is worth [...]

    2. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Corruption violence Africa love angle and a dog what's not to like. Good story about gm and corruption in Africa

    3. This is the second book I've read from the pen of Ken Fry and it will not be my last, the first being, The Brodsky Affair. I've spoken before of my pleasure in finding an "indie" author with the confidence to take on the big, international, blockbuster thrillers. Mr. Fry has that confidence, in spades and backs it up with well-written, hard-hitting, thrillers that captivate your attention and keep you riveted to the story until the very last word. The subject of Suicide Seeds is one that is very [...]

    4. Editor's Review:Suicide Seeds is a fitting novel for our times. The possible hazards of genetic engineering on crops and animals are widely debated and feared. In this book, Ken Fry tackles the story from the POV of Lloyd Olsen, a high ranking executive in a GM seed company, NewCrop. Lloyd has dreams of one day becoming the top man, and was pleased when he was sent to The Gambia, West Africa, to head a new operation. Unknown to him, the seed NewCrop was offering the farmers and the government we [...]

    5. This book was exciting, building tension from beginning to the explosive end. I especially liked the way the author weaved together three storylines- the evil corporation making money off the backs of the hungry in Africa, a delightful love story, and Beach Dog's story. The best thing in this novel is the way it educates the reader on the danger of genetically modified crops and how outsiders can use their promise to make money with no regard for the lives of the consumers. My only wish was for [...]

    6. Wow. Ken Fry did not disappoint with this fantastic novel. I read one of his previous works and enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as this one. On top of some excellent writing and a plot that will keep you ever guessing, the premise shows just how dangerous a society driven by greed for the sake of greed can be a threat to us all. To me, that was the most important realization. I'm not gonna discuss the book further because I do not want to distract from that message. Read this!

    7. This fast-moving and engaging story incorporates topical issues (GMO crops and agriculture in Africa) relevant to today’s readers. The story grows and builds from a multiple angles, coming together to create a suspenseful and tremendously satisfying story. With such interesting characters, I hope to see more works involving them soon.

    8. Lloyd Olson ventures from the UK to the Gambia to oversee a major project for his GMO-selling employer. He finds a lot more danger (and love) than he expected. Fry creates a sympathetic protagonist and villains you love to hate. He does a good job of presenting GMO crops fairly, acknowledging the positive aspects and not shying away from the negative. This suspense novel turns the disturbing sexual violence level up to eleven in places, just so you're aware. That isn't to my personal taste, but I [...]

    9. Suicide Seeds is set in Gambia, West Africa where NewCrop is planning to expand its genetically modified (GM) crop development program. In a surrounding that is rife with bribery and corruption the author’s extensive knowledge of Gambia is invaluable in bringing the characters and environment to life. There is never a chance to get bored with this fast-paced and action packed novel. A word of caution though, there are some scenes of stark violence but what can you expect when seedy and greedy [...]

    10. What surprised me about this book was the love story. I found it quite touching and the main character relatable. Lloyd's struggle to save his loved ones had me turning the pages and I just couldn't put it down. It's an intriguing novel with a thought provoking idea. There's a genetically modified seed that can stop the famine in West Africa, however, there's a catch and it's not what it seems. Lloyd Olsen must make some tough decisions and ultimately sacrifice all he thought he wanted to save t [...]

    11. It is relevant to modern society with brilliant story lines! I have read Mr. Ken Fry’s other books and short stories; I enjoyed this book and am awed by his style of writing, intriguing plots, and compelling characterizations once more. The theme of this book is relevant to the current social issues and modern science, which has a profound impact on humanity. The protagonist, Lloyd Olsen, was appointed to the head of the operation in West Africa with the light of ambition to be the future CEO [...]
