  1. Awesome. I was lucky to find this novel among some old forgotten books and read it with great pleasure. It is very well-written and has a captivating and original story. The villain is more tragic than vile and Batman is described very well. The book resembles a detective story, an aspect, which is kind of forgotten in some Bat stories and manages to surprise you. It is quite gory, but in the same time there are some touching moments. In conclusion, an excellent Batman adventure!

  2. Fanfiction d'autore."Solo lì, avvolto nelle tenebre, lui era veramente Batman".Tre stelle e mezzo.

  4. Firstwhat's first. Oh yes, the title. Completely inappropriate for the story as Batman is never captured in this book at all. Even metaphorically it's weak as Batman gets pulled into the case by Gordon not by his own intrigue. This 240 page book has a lot of blank pages and filler pages where he divides the book into sections. 35 of them to be exact (yes, I counted). That makes this book actually 205 pages and a fairly quick read. I didn't enjoy reading the introspection, especially of Bruce Wayn [...]

  8. I was excited to read this, being from one of my fav authors, but I did not like it. The villian was stupid, and it needed way more Batman.Yeah, we get it, Batman is upset about his parents, it haunts him. We don't need our faces rubbed in it everytime we look at something with Batman in it.

  10. Not up to Landsdale's usual standards for his own original stories, but not bad either. The supernatural angle wasn't my favorite part, but hey, I've read worse Batman novelizations.
