    1. Rating: 3.5 starsI must say that I liked this book more than I did the first in the series. I found Canute a much more likeable character than Cyrus was and I just adored Haru. I liked the majority of this book took place in Japan. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the ending. I wanted to read about Haru fitting in at Chateau Sanguine. Alas, we didn’t really get that. Overall, it was a good story. If you liked the first one, you would definitely like this one. I’m of two minds as [...]

    2. Deception, heartbreak, hope, fate, love, and passion. That is a lot for one book, but I wouldn't want it any other way.Haru is so innocent in many ways. He has a special purpose in the paranormal world, but once he sees Canute, his purpose changes. Canute and Haru are Kindred and finding Haru after want Canute went through was good timing. I thin he would have been lost if Haru hadn't rescued him. You have got to love Fate.

    3. The cover was wrong because Canute had blond hair. The writing was all over the place and difficult to follow. The characters were stiff like cardboard and came across very simplistic. Lost interest and DNF @ 40%. Returned to KU @ 0%.

    4. Cute This was a good follow up. Poor Canute being used as a pawn in a very powerful siren's plan. This siren was so powerful that no one could see through all the deception.
