    1. What an amazing love story! Although I wish there were an epilogue to take us a little farther than what the ending of the book gave us, I was very impressed with the writing, plot, and characters. The writing was engaging, the plot was ingenious, and the characters were very real, raw, and beautifully flawed in all the best ways. This was a seemingly impossible romance, that drives home the fact that anything is possible where true love is involved. This book will touch your heart and it will m [...]

    2. I received a copy of this book from the author! This was such a good book! I loved the plot, the characters and the ending. It was such a stretch for me since I don't normally read science fiction but I found the blurb interesting so I had to read it! Angels, humans after the apocalypse, space ships, AI, colonies of humans in deep space, the Freedom Alliance and the punishment for humans who wanted total control over everything. The ending was difficult to read but shouldn't have come as such a s [...]

    3. Angels feather is book 1 of a new science fiction romance series.Adam lives on earth with hus mum, the planet is failing, he watched his dad being executed by a flyer at young age. He is different to the general population.Earth is watched over by flyers, they look like angels but they're not. The flyers are there to KILL the humans trying to escape earth.Michael is an enforcer flyer and carries out executions. His not human that is obvious, he also doesn't experience emotions like humans, until [...]

    4. I've only read one other book by this author, which I absolutely adored, this one left me.ed.For me, it was a book of two halves. The first half was riveting, I enjoyed reading how the author fed us the storyline with hints of what was to comeHowever, the second half was messy and confusing.Adam appeared to have had some kind of lobotomy and went from someone to having a vision to better everyone, to a tyrant with the single thought of only bettering himself. What did I miss? Because the author [...]

    5. Most of the primitive humans hate the rule of the flyers, but Adam has always admired them. They are the perfection humans should be striving towards, rather than struggle against.I received a free copy in return for an honest review. This book is an interesting mix, that really draws you in. There's gay romance, dystopia, sci-fi and angels. I thought it was a really original idea, to have the "angels" as alien beings, with wings (of course). After humankind has ruined their own world, and spread [...]

    6. 4.5 Stars!I don't read that many sci-fi books, mostly because we don't get all that many requests for MM sci-fi books, but this one was really good! I loved the world building and the attention to detail, which are really important in books like this. I loved the imagery and how fast paced the book was. I wasn't that fond of the cliffhanger at the end which almost made me throw a fit at 2 am, though. *pouts* I loved Adam and my heart broke along with his so many times throughout the book, especi [...]

    7. I think the idea of the story was good, so was the writing. However, there were just a few too many problems that were the reason for the not so great rating.Adam appeared to be a sweet and sensible guy, and I thought he was ok at first. That’s why I was quite flabbergasted by his sudden change, regardless of his reasons. He seemed like a complete different character in the second half. He did everything the exact opposite of what he believed at first, and I just couldn’t get behind him, sup [...]

    8. Reading Angel's Feather was like listening to grumblings of a teenager on an essay topic. The setting is interesting, but the world building is completely absent, like the said teenager expects the reader to read her mind and imagine exactly what she meant. The characters development is likewise lacking, they are all crude and grotesque. It all feels rushed, with none of the parts - characters, plot, setting - important. The whole thing seems to exist to shout out moralistic sentences. Just like [...]

    9. Gay male romance in a dystopian Earth between a human man and an extraterrestrial guardian. I didn't really like the human because he completely changed his morality after he was spurned, and had no regard for the lives of others.

    10. One of those rare titles where it's a short story but so well written that I could feel the characters no plot holes Recommended title if you are wanting a short read or a little dose of sci-fi Looking forward to other titles in the series to see if the world building continues.

    11. Interesante el libro excepto por ese cambio radical de personalidad de Adam y ese final espero tenga un siguiente libro porque sino yo no considero ese final cerrado.

    12. I’m not really into sci-fi but the premise of Angel’s Feather attracted me and I was curious to see how it is developed. From the first few pages I knew I won’t be disappointed and by the end the only thing I wanted to know was when Flyer Chronicles #2 is coming out.The narrative is from first person POV but this is not the only thing which makes Adam a truly relatable character. He has this realistic and mature attitude towards the world he lives in, the circumstances which lead to people [...]

    13. Earth has broken too many alliances and has just dug themselves into some dire straits. The result is being monitored by Flyers, angels or beings with wings who met out punishment to those who break rules.Adam is one of the inhibitors of earth. He has eidetic memory. Unlike many he feels it useless to fight the Flyer and believes its better to abide by the simple rules that have been enforced on them. He believes it better to put his energy elsewhere, like making sure there's enough food and res [...]
