  1. I received a free copy of this book for review purposes.Not really knowing what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised. Some of the information was new to me, and some not. A wide range of territory is covered as background material, while the stories are taken from nine tribes. I wish there were more.The intended audience is teens, but anyone interested in Native American lore or culture can enjoy this book. Never once was the author condescending.
