    1. While plagued with some TSTL behavior, some convoluted plotting and more than a little predictability, Shadow of Sin turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable read for me. Erin Flannery had a long, slow, hard crawl to the top. Her family had a bad reputation. The best of them were known as thieves, liars and drunks and well, the worst of them were criminals with long rap sheets to prove it.     2. It pains me to give this book a low rating. I love JA and have followed her since she became published. Her RS is my favorite. This book was full of typos, confusing speak and nonsensical story twists.I am assuming that Alicia and Reece are up next, since their story was unfinished, and of course I will buy it, but I sincerely hope it is better than this one.
