Her calling to be a nurse gave her a skill set that provided a livelihood, but also insight into her need for professional help. This book should be read by all sexual abuse therapists and [...]

    3. What courage it took for Paula to write this book. It tells of her early childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her stepfather. It shows how sexual abuse can affect all phases of your life . Her struggle to deal with it and coming to realize she needed professional help to go on with her life.It tells of the importance of helping these victims. The insights from a child's point of view are invaluable. I recommend this book for all who come in contact with children.
