    1. Other than wishing Mug had more to do in this installment, I was once again completely enamored by Bosma's storytelling, imagination, sense of humor, and delightful art (color was particularly striking this go around). The overarching Order of Mages plot adds a compelling element, giving the series a boost past "fun fantasy adventures". Plus, golf.

    2. My Favorite so far, though I'm bummed there's only going to be one more. Bosma's art styles seem to be a bit looser here which I quite like, also monster king is adorable. It's good to see Wiz and Mug apart for a bit here too, it really lets them shine in their own ways (also we get to see young Mug who is adorable). Stoked for the next book!

    3. Grabbed my interest immediately. There is a cast of uncommon characters, clever dialogue, AND deftly combines golf and wrestling! It has stories within stories and skillfully tees up a an intriguing story line for the next book in the series. A satisfying read in every way.

    4. Real good. Just. Really good. Sports, drama, action, magic, suspense, adventure, friendship, weirdness. A wonderful combination. This volume brought the underlying driving force to the fore and set up a grand finale I eagerly anticipate.

    5. Another fun volume. I'll never get tired of the art, and it's been fun to get a glimpse into the wider mythology of the world itself. I look forward to the fourth and final volume!

    6. This series is the best! Definitely in my all time favorites list for the excellent combination of beautiful artwork, character development, witty dialogue, and lots of fun.

    7. My son loved this book. He thought it was fun and interesting. He like the illustrations. I won this book as a giveaway on .
