    1. I haven't really read enough of these pseudo-pychological tracts to know if this was any worse or better than others. It gave some, what I thought to be, common sense advice on getting along with people, largely within a business setting. This ranged from pretty shallow suggestions, eg buy your contacts a gift, so even if they can't help you they might buy someone who can, to quite sound advice, eg empower everyone in the team to feel like a leader and play to their strengths - hardly rocket sci [...]

    2. Simplistic book, read it in two hours. The guy talks about himself and how he had always people around himself. Not much useful, except maybe the advice to always have an advisory board of smart people.

    3. Collection of 53 Habits grouped in 11 skills around the importance to be authentic, determined, positive, open to other to succeed.Revival of Dale Carnegie opera in our times the book is easy to read and consumed. Can it be useful or not ? Read the index and u will know what recommendations you will get. Each chapter expand with a personal sample of the author on when implementing the recommendations he got unexpected value back.It is a positive, very light, “easy to read” book that can stimu [...]

    4. Was reading the book three quarter of the way when I decided to google one of the companies that the author mentioned so much about running as Founder and CEO. Glassdoor returns as the top few search results and after reading the comments left by employees and ex-employees of the company, I am not sure if his methodology works. Well, since i am too committed into the book, I just finished it anyway.

    5. I very rarely throw away books, but this one i disposed of easily. Trash, doesn't deserve any attention; no fresh ideas, a bazaar collection of third-grade yarns. Regret that I wasted €14.95 on it. How can I claim the money back?

    6. Great tips, makes you think while it is so super easy to read. Thank you notes and bonsai are not new ideas for showing appreciation and of course not every person can use those but the rest are all very useful and effective ideas.A big thumb up for the ease of writing!

    7. Torture to get through, I didn't even finish it. Was hoping for some nuggets of wisdom, but not really any to be found. As an autistic person, I struggle with communication and social nuances in general. This book wasn't helpful.

    8. This book would probably work well for you if you wanted to be a star salesperson. For me, the 'people skills' sound way too exhausting to put into practice in my daily life. I just don't want to spend virtually all of my time trying to make other people like me.

    9. I enjoyed reading the book! It's very inspirational and filled with positive messages and acts of kindness :)

    10. Classic. Extraordianry.Very very practical and full of relevant real-life anecdotes.Genuinely helpful for personality development!!!

    11. This book is really nice, many things which we can learn. I have started writing a book summary of this book, you all can check the part 1 from seeken/art-people-book

    12. 248 pages of self-promotion. I stopped reading when he got the SMART acronym wrong, and I'm amazed it took that long.

    13. The short stories are all over the place. Sometimes they don't really illustrate the point that the author is trying to make and just seems super random. The author didn't really make any effort to tie each small section to the theme of the larger chapter which makes it even more random. I never read Dale Carnegies novel but I'm dubious that this book is on the same level. The writing can be described as lazy and someone who just jots down whatever his thoughts are. I finished the book in like 2 [...]

    14. Offers great hints to shape your perspective about fitting in society and successfully being who you really are.
