    1. the premise was promising, execution left a lot to be desired. frequent mentions of her black hair (when the cover has a blonde girl) also irked me.(view spoiler)[ he guessed that she was a cat, she revealed her powers, and then he was like "who/what is she?" at the end? also a lot of running around, incompetent villains, mercy mary? sigh. Also she was a cat! there was so much more the author could have done, but the cat just slept and made tea when in her 9th life she became a woman.(hide spoil [...]

    2. Oddly interesting paranormal regency. The really irritating thing about this book is the fact that the heroine is not blond, as shown on the cover. She has black hair.
