    1. I had mixed feelings about this chapter. On one hand, it's interesting to read about a "big data" analysis of best sellers. On the other hand, the authors appear to be drawing some unsupported conclusions. For example, they conclude that genre doesn't matter because their computer program didn't flag genre as being important. However, their description of the computer analysis suggests that it didn't look for genre features, it just categorized topics (e.g did the book contain scenes at bars or [...]
