    1. FairThe writing was good and the characters were likeable but the assumptions about gay men were typical. I didn't like that.

    2. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. A B.R.A.G. MEDALLION HONOREEMinister Eustace Elder didn't believe in extravagant things like life insurance. Bunny Elder finds herself widowed and asked to move out of the rectory to make room for the new minister and his family. Alone and living on a meager savings, Bunny has to reevaluate her new life. Her family has other ideas like dating!“Don't tell me y [...]

    3. This book seems to have garnered many favourable reviews, but I have to say that personally I found it only okay and not particularly awesome. I didn't realize it was Christian fiction for one thing until partway through when all the sermonizing began (although, since it was written by a pastor's wife, I should have known it would contain religious themes!). Anyway, don't get me wrong, I don't think Christian fiction is bad--I just find it can sometimes get a little too preachy and pushy for my [...]

    4. Time well spent.I enjoy good mystery/suspense but am put off by unnecessary profanity, gratuitous sex and graphic violence. It seems to be an extension of our own broken world. J.B. Hawker can spin an intriguing tale w/o those drepressing characteristics. She is no prudeher characters struggle with base impulses and commit vile acts but she does not interject tasteless language. Her literary style is to be commended as is her ability to make her characters extraordinarily like people one might k [...]

    5. This was an embarrassingly bad book. The writing was terrible, the characters were one dimensional, the plot was both bizarre and trite, and, while I love a cheesy mystery novel, this was painful to finish.

    6. Good readingI truly enjoyed the book. I did not expect the ending though. Standing up for self was powerful. Interestingly how the author took us through the thought process of a killer.

    7. This is a fun and interesting easy read. A book you would not be ashamed to have you mom read too. Truly a nice story, looking forward to the next book in the series.

    8. Goodthe murders that were committed by Mentally disturbed man who had been physically abused sexually.he was under the entrance of a Minster.

    9. We are proud to announce that HOLLOW by J.B. Hawker is a B.R.A.G.Medallion Honoree. This tells a reader that this book is well worth their time and money!

    10. HollowAn interesting story. Not the greatest book I have ever read - but interesting enough that I read it cover to cover.

    11. Fantastic story lineRated this 4 stars. Couldn't bring myself to stop reading. A lot of twists and turns will keep you captivated
