    1. I used to love this book when I was little, more 1st and 2nd grade, where you can practice reading vocabulary. I have said this before about Richard Scarry's works, but they are so jam packed with learning I find them distracting. As a classic author, it's a great lap book. I would not attempt to read this at bed time. If you engage a child in this book, it could easily take you half an hour to get through.

    2. I like it a lot. It's really fun. I like to read some stories in it. My favorite story is "Absentminded Mr. Rabbit." It's very funny when someone gets stuck in a "new, hot, sticky, gooey street." He was looking at his newspaper and he suddenly looked down at his feet

    3. 5* art4* storiesA great little collection. Squirt loved the "Building a Road" one best, kept coming back to it and pointing out all the different machines, "What that? What that?" and loved the little cricket on the tiny bulldozer - and the pig who fell into the stream.
