    1. I recommend reading One Simple Memory first to fully enjoy this one.Jake wants to be a better man after he gets out of prison. He wants to right all the wrongs. His father was an awful man who used his kids like weapons. Jake meets Devon at a diner. She really is a beautiful woman with a sweet soul. But Devon is still looking for more out of life. She gets mugged and Jake is there to save Blondie as he affectionately calls her. Can he become a better man? Can he right his wrongs. Can he make up [...]

    3. Jake's Redemption is a tale of just that, redemption. Jake's past is sketchy, and when he meets Devon he's just starting life over. Can Devon overlook Jake's past--even as it continues to haunt them? Will Jake ever feel worthy of redemption? There's only one way to find out. Read Jake's Redemption!

    4. What to say about this. This book is full of suspense and various emotions. It also is about how everyone deserves a second d chance, and when someone decides to change their past does not predict their future. This was the first book I have read by Jean but it won't be the last!

    5. I received this book from Fallen for Books in exchanged for my honest opinion of the book. This is the first book by this author I have read. I think I probably should have read the first book in this series prior to I reading this one because I am pretty sure I missed some of the "back story" that may have been identified in the previous book. However, the book did keep my interest and I liked the characters. I would have liked to see more development into Jake's struggle with swapping from a " [...]

    6. I really enjoyed this book. It makes you believe in second chances. Jake wants a second chance at becoming a better man, after spending time in prison for mistakes he regrets. When he meets Devon, he immediately feels a pull, like she's an angel sent to save him. Devon is at first weary of Jake, because of his past, but is willing to give him a chance to prove he is a different man. Jake also longs to reunite with his family, hoping for forgiveness. Is Devon Jake's redemption? Will Jake be able [...]
