    1. I think I've lost track these days of how many Mary Crawford Hidden Hearts or Hidden Beauty Novels, I've read. If you'd asked me a year ago if I would become a groupie of a romance writer who's books are simple, sweet romances with a twist, I would have laughed at you. I am hardly Crawford's prime demographic, yet I have fallen in love with her characters and her stories. I seem to have become one of her default ARC readers and frankly that suits me just fine. I am thrilled to know that I will b [...]

    2. Now, there are thirteen. I have to catch my breath when I say that. I have written and published ten full-length novels and contributed works to three other collections. That's a little mind blowing, but something I'm so proud of. I am particularly honored to be part of this project.People often ask me where I get the inspiration for my books and I typically have to shrug and vaguely answer from my imagination and the world around me. Love is More Than Skin Deep is a very different story. One da [...]

    3. Love is More than Skin Deep is a book where Shelby and Mark end up meeting by coincidence, but then find a much deeper purpose in being together. Mark supports and loves Shelby while she goes through all the treatment that skin cancer requires, and meanwhile, Shelby becomes attached to Mark’s daughter and learns how to lean on others.I love how the author used real life inspiration as the starting point for this book. I also really love how this is a story where it doesn’t completely revolve [...]

    4. Sigh. I fall more in love with this series (and the characters) with every page. This book is the three S’s. Sweet, sassy and soulful. Amidst all of the chaos swirling around all these people, each persons emotional angst/happiness is so well represented in Mary’s words that you feel as though you are in the book. It was great! I think Ketki is one of my most favourite characters. The way she is both honest and later empowering during her daily struggles with autism and life as s preteen is [...]

    5. I absolutely loved this book. Mary Crawford wrote this book from the very depths of her heart and soul and it will leave a lasting impression on you long after you finish the last paragraph. The immense support Shelby receives from her newfound friends help her to continue on when others who are not as strong would have simply given up. Most importantly, she finds love with Mark Littleson and an added bonus - his daughter. This is a sweet and emotionally gripping romance that deals with issues m [...]

    6. *I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*I will admit, first off, that this book was not of a type I’d normally read. I read through boxes of books much like this in my formative years, though I will also admit that few of them had to do with skin cancer or cancer of any kind.Shelby Lyons walks into Ink’d Deep and isn’t expecting her life to change. Neither was Mark Littleson. And you get to read through the ups and downs—through Shelby’s battle with skin [...]

    7. I loved this book, very informative and was hooked on it right away. Mary Crawford's writing skills have rapidly improved. can't wait ti read her next book.

    8. Having lost a friend to skin cancer, the pain in this book hit me hard. Total life healing is possible through pain, and life can indeed move on.

    9. I loved this book! This book dealt with the Big C and autism. I thought it was thoughtfully written with a lot of humor.
