    2. Larkspur was the next to have her birthday and her wish. She wished to knoe people's thoughts, only the problem is, she can't tune them out. This opens with her withdrawn and slowly going insane. But her gift comes in handy because the sisters come across a deer that is really a man. Larkspur's gift comes in handy in this one.     3. 4.5 starsThis is longer and darker than Hazel's Promise but I liked it just as much. Poor Hugh. I could feel his pain! I really like the Dapplewards.

    4. I wish we'd learned more about the hero, but I loved Ivy! For a novella length book, Ivy's Choice really developed the heroine's character.
