    1. ***2.5 Stars***Sad reader. Party of one. I have immensely loved this series. It's thrilling, it's suspenseful, and it weaves romance in and out of the action wonderfully. Unfortunately, almost all of that was missing here. At the end of Oversight, we saw the foundation of The Community begin cracking and this final book in the trilogy was set up to bring everything crashing down. The first few chapters grabbed me by the throat and had me gripping my kindle with excitement and anxiety. And then.e [...]

    2. 3,5 rounded upIt pains me to give this book only 3,5 stars, but unfortunately I expected so much more. Maybe it's me again. Maybe I had too high hopes for this one. Anyway, I was disappointed it didn't raise to my expectations. I loved the second book, Oversight so much. It was amazing and naturally I expected the third one to knock me on my feet. I was also a huge fan of Chase. He was so mysterious and I knew his story will break my heart. But I also expected a grand finale and I didn't get it. [...]

    3. Santino Hassell gave me a high heart rate! The whole time I was reading Sightlines my brain was screaming "RUN"! You guys, someone needs to turn The Community into a TV series. badass motherf@cker youBest psychic there is!The focus of this story is Chase and Elijah, but the book is not just about them. It's about this whole group of vigilants that keep fighting the big bad. I expected it, and I loved that everyone was there, each one reaching out with their unique gift to right the wro [...]

    4. I'm kinda sad the story is over. It was a wild ride through the Community series, one that I'm so glad I took, but all I want is more.Sightlines, more than the first two books, had such a strong ICoS-like feel to it. From the paranormal elements, to Jasper (the creepy fucktard who needed to die in a horrific fire), to the formation of a strong, resilient group of misfits who were determined to take the Farm down.I loved everything about the story of the Community and how good ideas, taken to ext [...]

    5. I loved it. Santino Hassell just has the magic touch.Whether it is the plot, which brings this series to a fitting conclusion, the characters as torn and f***ed up as you can expect or the creation of an atmosphere which is chilling and in many ways reminiscent of ICoS. There is the Community, supposedly helping all those lost psychics out there when in reality there is something way more sinister going on. Something Chase and his brothers have to stop. (And boy these guys at the farm gave me th [...]

    6. 4-4.25 stars. When I first started reading this series, what I read and got was so not what I expected. I ended up enjoying it so much more than I thought. This seriescannotbe read as a standalone. Although each book features different characters, the story that flows from book 1 to now is continuous.Chase is someone you met earlier in the series along with Elijah. As soon as you read their story, you know there was something going on there and I just had to get my hands on their book. And this [...]

    7. 4.5*While I'm not sure any series by any author will ever impact me quite the same way as ICoS Santino has yet again produced another riveting read. This has a slight ICoS feel to it and it's a rough beginning. It was always a challenge to maintain his mental shield while pretending to be mind-controlled by a sociopath in a black lab coat who was trying to splinter his brain. However, Chase had done it before. Without his shield, the sociopath in question—Jasper, psychic vamp extraordinaire—w [...]

    8. Amazing good read. Steady, strong and impressive. Balanced. It's about indoctrination, manipulation and scary adaptation of the mind. The Communityyond civilization Elijah heart reached out to himadI loved him hard. Chase in the middle of a mind-fuck game. So vulnerable.he has unbelievable powers, beyond imagination.I was 'happy' for him when there were revelations. In all the angst and despair one thing makes it bearable and that is love. Because what would life be without love empty shell It was [...]

    9. Sightlines is the third and final installment in Santino Hassell's trilogy, The Community. There's a developing story arc that begins in book 1, so you should read these in order to get the full story.I enjoyed reading it to its conclusion. But I have to admit I expected something a little different from this third book. Chase has been our resident bad boy throughout. So in my mind I was picturing his story somewhat like the story in ICoS (another series co-written by the same author). But Chase [...]

    10. ~4 Stars~All in all, I am a fan of this series. I think I may be a bigger fan of the paranormal genre than I realized. My favorite book in this series, hands down, was Book 2 - Holden and Six were fantastic. While this book finished the series nicely, it was a bit lacking in the actual relationship of Chase and Elijah. I realize all the intense action was happening, so I get why it wasn't all about them as a couple during the bulk of the story, but I was hoping for something more maybe at the en [...]

    11. 4.5 starsI’ve been waiting for this book ever since I met Chase and Elijah in book 1. I couldn’t wait to read about how the douchey bad boy fell for the sweet twink. ‘Sightlines’ definitely delivered!Book #3 hits the ground running. Chase and Elijah are captives at the Farm, and their only way to survive is to play along with Richard and Jasper’s vision for the Community. The two men are cut off from any allies, and can only rely on each other. If you’ve been following along to their [...]

    12. Unfortunately, Sightlines was my least favorite of the Community trilogy and that's saying a lot considering it served as the wrapup to the series, and I was already underwhelmed by Oversight (Book 2). I thought the pacing was unusually slow with none of the urgency one would expect considering the circumstances our two heroes found themselves in. Worse was the lack of progress made on the overarching "big bad" plot until well into the final third of the book. By that point, I found it very diff [...]

    13. Wow, what a great nuanced ending to Santino Hassell's The Community series. Throughout the first two books in the series, we learned about The Community - both its public face and the dark deadly evil underside. We've met Nate of the infamous Black family of psychics and his partner Trent; Holden, whose father started The Community, and his lover Sixtus; and now Sightlinestells Chase's and Elijah's story.Chase is an incredibly talented multi who has spent most of his life at The Farm being "real [...]

    14. 4.25 starsMore than any books released this month (October 2017), Sightlines sits on the top of the list. I've been dying to read the conclusion of Hassell's X-Men-like series, especially because I love Chase and Elijah. So when I was offered the chance for advanced reader's copy, I didn't think twice to request it.So, does it deliver to my satisfaction? FUCK YEAH.Between the three brothers, Chase's background is the one that draws me the most. Probably one of the most powerful multis with his t [...]

    15. ARC from the author and Netgalley.2.5 starsOK, you guys. I have a less than stellar review to write for a favorite author, so you know the drill. Get in and out of this review asap, but still be informative. I had to go back and read my reviews for Insight and Oversight to see what had changed between them that made me love the second so much, and that still stands. The second book was much more relationship focused (at least IMO,) than the first, and this is where Hassell excels. In fact, I men [...]

    16. 3.5 stars rounded up in consideration of the whole seriesI didn’t manage to get as invested in this one as the in the previous two books. It felt like it dragged a bit between roughly the 50% and the 80% marks. I guess that part of the issue was that the dynamics between the characters, as well as the overall «world building» / understanding of the Community were already known. So although we learnt some more about Chase relations with his father and about Richard as such, it felt marginal.

    17. Took me a while to get back into book 3 but by 50% I was back to loving Chase & Elijah. I hated life on the farm, so well done Santino- I guess you wanted that response from your readers I certainly could empathize with Chase much more and I was seriously hoping both these guys would find a moment of peace. I must say, Jasper and Will were nasty mother#^*%•ers, I wished they went out with more of a bang !!! It was great to have all the team back together in the second part of the book and [...]

    18. Overall I liked this series a lot and although the romance was a subplot in each book I felt the connection with each couple. I thought the details that I've come to expect in Santino's writing were missing in books 2 and 3 and since there's an overarching plot I felt the final conflict was rushed. Sounds like there's no plans to revisit the community anytime in the near future but I wouldn't mind reading how these characters are doing after some time has passed and to see what they've been up t [...]

    19. Awwww I love Elijah so much! What a cute and feisty cinnamon roll!!!This book was hard to put down. I really enjoyed the strong bond between Elijah and Chase. I just want more Elijah!

    20. I’m in a bookis book was good, but it wasn’t great. It wasn’t quite underwhelming, but it was lacking something Ive come to expect from Santino Hassell: PASSION. It almost felt as if Santino lost his passion for this story. Was it a 4 Star Read? Almost. Was it 3.5t quite because it was well edited and pulled together many plot points from the previous books. It just didn’t get my blood going either with the mystery, the action, or the sex (the little that there was). And like [...]

    21. 4.5 stars. Great finish to the series, and I loved how they finished as family, not just Community. Chase needed that almost as much as he needed Elijah and I loved that too. ❤️

    22. An ARC was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.First let me start by saying I am so glad I didn't have to wait too long to read the conclusion to this series. Yes, the previous books ended on a cliffhanger of sorts, and YES these must be read in order and you should read them all. I do recommend this series and can't wait for the chance to read them all again at one time. I know I will pick up on things I missed the first time around.Sightlines is the final b [...]

    23. Rep: gay MC, gay LI, Mexican LI, Latinx character, POC charactersWarnings: explicit violence, rape / attempted rape / implied rape, kidnapping, abuse / child abuse, mind control, torture, ableism, slurs, gendered slurs, mental illness (anxiety, PTSD), homomisia, mention of queermisic family and religion, gaslighting, slutshaming, mention of incest

    24. 3.5 stars. I get that this is the final book in the Community series. I also get that this book needs to wrap up all lose ends in the series and bring the entire story to a satisfactory conclusion. I get that. But this story is 97% action/thriller/paranormal suspense and 3% romance. I needed/wanted more romance and heat. I needed to not just be told that Chase and Elijah cared for each other, but to see their relationship and feelings evolve over time. Instead, their relationship took a back sea [...]

    25. Oh<3 I love my kids so much ;;;This series was da best. Gay cute ships, amazing characters, duckin good story line, also psychics!!!

    26. *Thank you A Novel Take PR for the arc*Powerful and emotional finale to the trilogy[TW list is in the end of the review]Sightlines is the third and final book in The Community trilogy. It's a paranormal action & suspense series with mlm romance. I enjoyed reading Sightlines so much, it's definitely my favorite in the series.I was anticipated this book since Insight because Chase is the protagonist of this book and because after the second book I badly needed to see how the story wraps up.I l [...]

    27. I have to start out by saying that these books are not standalone books. I've mentioned this in past books, but it's important enough to mention again. There is an arc story-line that travels thru these books about The Community. The different characters in The Community and their romantic entanglements are not the focus or what drives this series. The story of The Community is what drives this series and the individual books. Yes, there are romantic elements to each book, but that is not the fo [...]
