    1. Downloaded for free from amazon“You have great power. If you pass the tests, you shall reign supreme.”This was a YA paranormal/fantasy story about a race of people that were able to use elemental or spiritual energy. Celeste was an interesting character, and she seemed to cope pretty well with everything that was thrown at her, even when things came really out of the blue. The storyline in this was about Celeste finding out about who her parents really were, and a huge war that was brewing th [...]

    2. This is set in Salem Massechusetts, great setting for a group of friends who have special powers. The "normal" residents have no idea what is going on around them, they are shielded. Celeste and her best friend Gena have powers, they can summon the wind and use nature as an ally. When they are being normal 16 year olds they have the usual discussions regarding boys, sweet sixteen parties and their basketball games. Outside of this they learn more about the battle of the millenia. A battle betwee [...]

    3. Another great book from the authors Lauren and Robert Stock. Also another book that is going on my “must get B when she turns older” shelf. I seriously have a list of books that I am getting her which includes Lauren and Robert’s Tamzin Clarke series (reviews for that series here and here).I really liked Celeste. She was your typical teenager (but is there such thing as a typical teenager….lol) with a twist. See, she lives in Salem MA (hey, I grew up the next town over!!) and she can cas [...]

    4. Necrobloods was intriguingly awesome and quite satisfying. It started out with shades of Hunger Games and Twilight, but it then took on a life all its own. I couldn't put the book down while reading the ending. I will be recommending this read to teens and adultsI am so glad a next book by this author is available!

    5. A five star read! A perfect blend of mystery, magic, and romance. I found it enjoyable and engrossing. This is the second book I've read by Lauren and Robert Stock, who writes books that appeal to YA and adults alike. It did not disappoint, and I'm looking forward to more books by the author.

    6. My rate for this book is 5 stars and I want to congratulate the author for writing this gorgeous book. The heroine is very interesting, she seems so real and normal, well as normal as someone like her can be.The love triangle in the book is my favourite part. She doesn't know who to choose, her old crush or the new guy in school. Both have their own qualities and both want to protect Cee.The story starts with the usual life of a teenager in Salem but everything changes when Cee finds out the trut [...]

    7. Celeste lives in Salem, but although her ancestors were witches, Celeste and her friends cast Elemental magic and as soon as they reach their 16th birthday they can be picked to go to battle against the Spirituals. This battle happens every 1000 years and the winners rule for the next 1000. Celeste with her best friend Gena, go to school with normals and have to keep their magic a secret. Celeste is your typical teenager who, crushes on the popular guys and struggles with her grades. She also lo [...]

    8. I would like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity and honor in being able to read this book. When I received this book I began reading it at once. I really enjoy the authors writing style, you are pulled into the book from the very beginning and you don't want to put the book down. It kept me on the edge of my seat reading from cover to cover. The author makes you feel as if this is all happening to you or at least someone very close to you. A lot of thought has been put into this s [...]

    9. Rating: 4.5Plot: This book follows Celeste, a young girl that is an Elemental, as she discovers who she is and what she is destined to do. I don’t want to say too much about the plot of this book because I can’t think of anything to say that won’t give away the mystery of this novel.Pros: This book has a great plot and is very easy to follow. It doesn’t have too much magic, but when reading it still has a very magical feel. I thought that the characters, while they may have been cliché [...]

    10. So you are 16, have a fab boyfriend, belong to a magical family, and have a bestie who has all the things you do. All you have to do is make sure none of your friends find out what you can do, magically, and enjoy being a teenager. Weeellll, not quite. Seems Celeste's life is about to get weird. As it turns out, she has more power than anyone she knows, there is a new boy in town who is totally terrifying and intriguing, and is interested in her, and maybe her family is not who she thought they [...]

    11. Cee knows she is special but has no idea just how important she is! Her friends keep her grounded, for some of them have "similar" abilities . Carter seems like a dream come true until Sean realizes his strong attraction to her. Is it lust or something else Loyalties are tested and families are torn. The trials that test them are excruciating and so scary. But coming together and showing a united front of family , friends and even some strangers are what is best! Excellent read and I will defini [...]

    12. What a storyThis is a YA PN story that was engaging from start to finish. The twists and turns as well as the roller coaster of emotions made this book hard to put down. I loved the intertwined relationships and how the author explored their impacts on each of the characters and on the storyline. GENIUS!
