    1. 3.5 StarsWell met again, Fae of Demesne of Purgatory. In this sixth installment of SoulShares series, they were still facing their long enemy, the Marfach in their walking dead Janek's putrefied glory. The new face to the mix was Fiachra Dubhdara, or Darkwood as known by his fellow police officers, a dark fae in a stolen body of blond god; and his scair-anam, or SoulShare, Japanese-descent Peregrine Took "Peri" Katsura (yes, his mother named him after a Hobbit, go figure ^^). Having followed thi [...]

    2. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Also, this review originally appeared on Hot Stuff for Cool People. It’s not really a secret that I love this series. It’s sweet, it’s fun, the writing is really solid. And this book, the sixth in the series, definitely has all those things. The book starts with one of our main characters, Fiachra, a fae who’s ostracized because of his coloring and lineage. He slips into the human world, but ends up in a body that i [...]

    3. Six Reasons why you should read the Sixth book of the SoulShares series:1. Because there is another Fae/Human couple and you are dying to meet them. On top of that Rory Ni Coileain plays a hidden trump card and there is something surprising and new about the Fae part of it.2. Because you get to meet everybody from the previous SoulShare's series. I'm sure you have a favorite among them who you want to read more about. (Mine's kind of robbed of one of his most charming traits here but it didn't m [...]

    4. This title was originally reviewed for Prism Book Alliance® If you have been following Rory Ni Coileain’s SoulShare series, then you are probably as excited for Mantled in Mist as I was. If you haven’t yet picked up this fabulous series, you really should. You can see my review for the first 5 installments here. It is definitely a series and should be read in order. I also recommend re-reading at least book 5, Blowing Smoke, before picking up Mantled in Mist just to refresh your memory on w [...]

    5. 2016 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Mantled in Mist by Rory Ni CoileainInteresting and suspenseful but convoluted. The characters are interesting and varied, even though they are fairly typical of m/m romance. The witty dialogue and extensive use of Gaelic with translations is very well-done. For the SIXTH volume in a series about characters with paranormal powers and cultural traditions, this novel is quite comprehensible.

    6. Yet another fantastic coupleTwo more Soulshares. Some other Fae we have not met before. The evilest evil of all. Again, I am up late into the night because I cannot put it down. The continuing saga of the Pattern and the Fae who surround it has me caught in its spell and I am not looking for a way out.

A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words ReviewRating: 4.5 Stars out of 5for the full review, visit wp/p220KL-731From that review: "Mantled in the Mist by Rory Ni Coilean takes one of my favorite series and with this story made it even deeper and more fantastical. The author has added several new magical beings, ones we have never heard of before, to this tale of pain, loss and magic. We are now introduced to races that played major roles in the ancient war that sundered Earth from the other dimensi [...]
