    1. absolutely fantastic story about a group of children during wartime - perfect for kids and adults of all ages. The book has been very well illustrated by the author, and the story itself is a lovely glimpse into life as it would have been during this difficult time. I found the characters engaging, and the language used easy to follow. I was asked to read this as a review copy and have bought copies for my godchildren who love it also.
