    1. I just love it when I open a book and I get exactly what I have been expecting and hoping to get.Oh, how much I have missed BreedsAfter Bengal's Quest, which was a complete mess, this one has a strong, nice story that reminded me of the good old Breeds' stories.Cullen is the commander of the Navajo Covert Law Enforcement Division in Window Rock, New Mexico and he is a Bengal Breed. Unfortunately he likes things in order and he does not want to be a Breed. His denial results in recessed Breed tra [...]

    2. 31 books in and it's STILL not Cassie's book. But I'm weak, and I need a smutty PNR fix, and so I'm cavingARC courtesy of publisher in exchange for an honest reviewFind me on:

    3. Overall a good addition to the series. When book 31 of the breeds was finally announced, I was really excited- because it took me one step close to Cassie's book (after I realized it wasn't Cassie's book)! The characters of this book are Judd and Chelsea.Judd/Cullen is a recessed bengal breed, twin brother of Graeme/Gideon whom we met in the previous book.Chelsea is Isabella's sister (Malachi's mate). The pair has known each other for years. Judd was married to Chelsea's late cousin Lauren, and Che [...]

    4. 4.5 stars31 books and counting.Who knew that when I picked up a copy of Tempting the Beast several years ago that I would still be reading this series. From the first introduction to this highly erotic series when they first appeared in the now defunct Elloras Cave to the more mainstream publishing houses, this series has held my attention, sometimes good, sometimes not so good a few years back when I could bearly finish the books. This one however was not the case. From beginning to end,I was engaged [...]

    5. Chelsea Martinez has been Cullen Maverick's personal assistant for way too long. Filing, completing reports, and office politics is not what she signed up for when she joined the the Navajo Covert Law Enforcement Division. It's become increasing apparent the good 'ole boys club will never let her out of the office into the field so Chelsea makes the decision to cut her loses and move on.Chelsea has become an integral part of Cullen's life which is why her resignation hits him deep. It's been sai [...]

    6. Full reviewThe book is the standard fight the mating heat fare of the early books with a little bit extra. Nothing like the great storylines from the years when the series first went mainstream; but not nearly as convoluted and confusing as recent books. After all these years you would think there would be something more. The angst comes from the long ago death of Cullen's wife, and what bit of action there is comes from the criminal blood queen who 'blames' Chelsea for the death of her daughter [...]

    7. This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance SummaryCullen Maverick also once known as "Judd" became a recessed Bengal Breed, a very rare circumstance. A recessed breed is rare, but their breed gentetics are also hidden so deep that it takes something deep to bring out the breed instincts of the animal and once it roars to life there is no stopping it. Cullen is the commander of the Covert Law Enforcement for the Navajo's, but there is one talent under him, that he refuses to let in [...]

    8. Cullen Maverick is a recessed gene Bengal Tiger Breed who has lived among and worked with the Navajo Nation as the Commander of the Navajo Covert Law Enforcement Agency. After losing his wife to cancer ten years ago, he’s kept himself closed off, even from the woman he suspects may mean more to his hidden Tiger. Chelsea Martinez has been in love with Cullen for as long as she can remember, and has even worked for him for the past four years. But he’s put off her need to do more than push pap [...]

    9. ✦Review & Giveaway: WAKE A SLEEPING TIGER: A Breed Novel by Lora Leigh wp/p3d0RZ-8jtPublication Date: March 21, 2017Genre: Paranormal RomanceReviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ CoriRated 4.5 StarsI love getting lost in Lora Leigh's Breed world and WAKE A SLEEPING TIGER was a great new addition to the series. It had new twists and turns that added suspense to the story and kept me flipping the pages. This series never gets old and I always look forward to picking up a new release because I k [...]

    10. 3.5 starsLora Leigh can always be counted on to turn up the heat. WAKE A SLEEPING TIGER was definitely hot and in many ways it fits in nicely with the classic stories in the Breeds series. I think my enjoyment of this book was hindered by the fact that this is so far into the series and I don’t think there’s a lot more left to explore that hasn’t been done before. It is crazy to say we are at book 31 in the Breeds series. And crazy still that I’m still reading them. Here’s the thing. WA [...]

    11. This is my original "guilty pleasure" series and so will always have a special place in my heart. That said, Wake a Sleeping Tiger was a tad repetitive (poor Cullen must have no teeth left he "ground his molars" so often) and with many episodes of "mating heat" (yawn, nothing new there). However as the series moves towards its end and the final story arc begins to play out, I am still invested enough to have to knowwho is Cassandra Sinclair's mystery mate my money is still on (view spoiler)[ DOG [...]

    12. Shadow's review:Lora Leigh has roared into a top notch book with her latest breed book, Wake a Sleeping Tiger. In this suspenseful novel, we learn more about Cullen Maverick, the head of the Navajo Covert Law Enforcement Agency, and a recessed breed. He stays recessed until Chelsea Martinez, with whom he has had a connection since she was a child, had had enough of his keeping her away from the job for which she has trained for many years, and decides to leave. As he waits for her to return and le [...]

    13. Awesome ending. Now I want to know if the author is going to make a story for Makenzie (Kenzie) and Cassandra(Cassie).

    14. Nothing frustrates me more than reading about two adults who are too stupid to communicate with each other. I hate when the main conflict in a couples' relationship could be solved with a few words. Specifically, when the only problem is their refusal to talk to each other. But they can't because REASONS. I'm not expecting them to proclaim their love, but cheese and rice, how about telling the other person about anything else? I'm happy, confused, worried, etc? Or how about asking them to explai [...]

    15. Another amazing book in this series. Very well written and wonderful storyline. If you have not read the other books in this series you maybe a little confused on the other characters and their stories but it can be read as a stand alone but I would suggest reading the other books in this series since all of them are intertwined with each other. If you are a lover of this author like me. You know Lora always leaves us with a twist needing more of her work. About the Book:Science created them hal [...]

    16. Wake A Sleeping Tiger gives us Cullen and Chelsea's story. I really enjoyed this story I love the dynamics and the strength of the characters, I would definitely recommend this book and series!

    17. I know I keep saying that I won't read anymore of the series but I got this one for FREE. It still wasn't worth it. They are all the same story, same characters with different names. Females that whine when they are discouraged from physically fighting evil men and seeking dangerous situations, and Males who are just as whiny about keeping their "mate" from danger. There are always kidnappings, a life threatening injury and finally a happily ever after. This series really should have ended a LON [...]

    18. Title:  Wake a Sleeping TigerSeries:  Breeds Book #31Author:  Lora LeighGenre:  Romance, Paranormal, ShiftersBlurb:   On a moonless Navajo night, the recessed Bengal Breed known only as Judd became Cullen Maverick, grandson to one of the Chiefs of the Six Tribes of the Native Americans.Bengal genetics, usually so fierce as to be labeled primal, was recessed so deep inside Judd that no hint of it can be found. A phenomena so rare it’s been notated only a few times. And there’s no way, i [...]

    19. It is really hard for me to be objective at the moment, as I think it is pretty clear in this book that we are not getting Cassie's story anytime soon - which is getting frustrating. I'd settle for a Dane book instead, or Brim or Eli, but LL has introduced a new character, and it looks like she is getting her story next. After all this waiting for Cassie, she better get Dog or I am deleting all my Breeds books. But on to the review.I have found the last few Breeds books a little confusing, so I w [...]

    20. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. The recessed breed is a novelty and none more so than Cullen formerly known as the lost breed, Judd. Cullen felt he had to suppress his breed genetics during his time in the labs in an effort to lessen the chances of causing pain to those around him. After all, his twin Gideon, had enough breed genetics inside him to be a Primal.Fast forward to present day, Cullen is a run of the mill law enforcement officer just trying to [...]

    21. I don't know, i actually enjoyed this one. I liked the fact that pretty much the entirety of this book was focused on the main couple! There weren't any new or confusing side stories or new breeds being added in either which i liked and the editing didn't feel to be as bad as it has been in past books. The ending left me a bit confused though clue who the interrogator was who came in at the end, i don't think he's ever been introduced before this and i have no clue how the person he's interrogat [...]

    22. Good story! I really like Graeme, even if he's insane! Cullen seems dull compared to his twin! Lots of mating heat! Interesting cliffhanger regarding Kenzi and Cassie!

    23. Dnf at 30%Wash. Rinse. Repeat. This series just needs to end by this point because this nothing new. Same characters different names.

    24. Cullen and Chelsea's story is a very fast paced tale that has a lot of comic relief in the form of Greame, Cullen's brother. Chelsea is a pretty kick ass character that knows how to handle anything thrown her way. While Cullen feels as though he needs to protect Chelsea from herself and everything around her. The new characters that were introduced had me screaming and pulling my hair for more . and let's not even talk about who's gone missing. Gah! If you can get over the fact that everyone is [...]

    25. You know the story :)But the details are all that matter, and here she throws quite a wrench in the overall plot.
