    1. This is the third in the Mike Gage series. Although not the first, it is fine as a stand-alone. As always, it may not be required, but I do recommend reading them in order.     7. PGreat read5 Stars. Loved the book and the author's writing is so timely to what is happening. A poignant story and one that I discovered how difficult it is for the police to prove their case. Not only is this author a writer that cat he's your interest right away but I always learn something new. I hope he continues writing about Mike Gage, I really like his character,honest and with a heart. Keep these books coming William G. Davis, you have a gift for writing. LKD
