This is one of the worst of the novelizations. All of the books present internal dialogues of the characters, and some of them are consistent with the characters and action. In this book, they are not. The very idea that the humane Doctor would advocate genocide, or dismiss people as irretreivably stupid (and disposable), is anathema to the character.
