    1. This is horrible. The illustrations were the only decent thing about this. The dialogue is equivalent to 'See Jane run. Jane runs fast.' My seven year old son has written more engaging books at school. I didn't expect much out of this, but I definitely expected more than I got. I can't believe this was actually published. I want my 5 minutes it took to read this back. Recommendation:I would recommend this to someone I really wanted to anger.

    2. This was seriously the worst graphic novel I've ever read. I'm not AT ALL a fan of the illustrations. We barely were introduced to 2 characters. I don't even know what this is!!

    3. The art is good, the text is clear to read, and I could see it really well on my kindle fire. It is really short, which is okay, as it was free. The dad is a creep, I'm glad the kid ran away.

    4. I'm disappointed. There was nothing there! In 25 pages I expect there to be some world-building and actual introduction of characters, but there was no narrator, and barely any dialogue, to make this happen. It would've been easier to forgive this if the artwork, which looked so promising on the first few pages, had been better. However, the quality quickly plummeted when there had to be a composition of more than two people in the frame. The people looked awkward, and almost every scene was vie [...]

    5. The graphics are Great, BUTI FOR one am ONE of those people who have pictures IN my mind from reading the SORCERERS RING series of what each character should look like AND I feel awkward reading a picture BOOK because THE Authors version of Thor AND MY picture of Thor are sooooo differentBUT IT would be great FOR someone WHO has NOT already read the whole series

    6. I downloaded this when computers at work were down and I needed a quick read on my mobile phone. This was free so I decided to give it a go.Unfortunately I was not impressed. I did want a quick read, but I finished this in under 5 minutes. Furthermore this was merely an introduction, nothing more. Sure it did say that it was episode 1 in a series but even so they could have made it a little longer. So yes, unable to give it a decent rating simply because there was barely anything to rate.

    7. I had expected more from this, but I suppose it is a good introduction to the book itself. However, the art looks kind of funky, because the proportions do not always look right and the drawings themselves look a bit static, completely void of emotion.Ah well, as I said before, a nice intro.

    8. A Quest of Heroes The Graphic Novel is the first episode in the Sorcerer’s Ring series and it was a really easy read. The pictures were done really well and you could totally see what was going on. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

    9. I suppose that this did it's job. I am interested in the whole story but only because there was so much left out of this comic.

    10. This graphic novel is the introduction into the Sorcerer’s Ring series and it was a great first episode. I really enjoyed this glimpse into this series and I hope there are more to come.

    11. 2 stars. Not because it was bad but short. Too short! There's almost no dialogue. No introduction. And when turns interesting it's when ends.I was expecting more.

    12. didn't get much into the story. illustration was obviously not what most people expect after the big companies DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, IDW the dialogue wasn't the best and the plot to me wasn't that engaging. seems k or it could have been told in half the amount of time.

    13. Thorgrin, a fourteen-year-old boy, wants nothing more than to prove his worth to his family and the kingdom by trying out for the King’s Legion. He is forbidden, however, which causes him to run away from home and run onto his coming of age path. Determined to fight his way into the King’s Legion, Thorgrin, travels to the King’s Court and learns a lot about himself along the way, including that he has a mysterious power. This story is full of family relationships, romance, adventure, betra [...]

    15. I received an ARC from the author and have chosen to review it. I really enjoyed this graphic novel. This was my first introduction into the Sorcerer’s Ring series and this was just the 1st episode so I got a glimpse of what is to happen with this series. The pictures were really good. I think there could have been some more lines to go along with the pictures to make it flow a little easier but other than that it was really well done and I wouldn’t mind seeing where the next episodes would [...]

    16. This is the first e-book graphic novel I have read. I thought that it would impact the Illustrations, but it did not. This was one part of the story, but it was so short and boring. It took me less than five minutes to read. There was hardly any plot. Also there was hardly any dialogue or words in general. I did enjoy the art, but I just wanted a story.I got this for free for joining a mailing list so at least I did not wast money on it.

    17. Hmm, this was an / recommendation and apparently is very well thought of, however not by me. The illustration is fine and has a filmic quality to it at times however the dialogue is so stilted and cliched that any serious intention is lost behind a wall of sniggers. It's not the worst that I've read but it's also far from the best.

    18. I thought that this graphic novel was actually quite interesting and left me at a place were I was prepared to buy the rest of the series! It was for part of the cramathon as I am not hugely into graphic novels usually but this one seemed interesting enough and happened to be in the end after reading it!

    19. poor book bad grammar poor spelling i have read better writing by 8 year old. the story is rushed, spelling changes from page to page this is very bad if i could give bit 0 i would like all of "her" books this is just trash

    20. To short for any actual world building. The dialogue was crap. The art was bland, all dull shades of brown basically & the characters are looked the same. The only thing it might have had going for it was the story, but even that seemed cliche and dull. A definite must miss.

    21. I like itI thought it would be more like a comic. It is not. That might be a good thing though. I think I will read the next one before deciding. I hope it is longer though.

    22. A brief look at a boy of fourteen attempting to join the Silver, a army, disappointed he's left behind while his three brothers join.

    23. I give this 2 stars because it is short and a teaser, in my opinion, for the full book. I have not read the quest for heroes book one yet.
