    1. My little boy loved this book. It has catchy lines that he has repeated often thoughout the day. He asks for it by name. IT is wonderfuly imaginative and entertaining for him.

    2. Most of us are rather dismissive of the bugs that surround us. After all, they are usually quite small. This picture book imagines that three bugs are superheroes who help their fellow bugs in all sorts of ways such as rescuing them from being eaten, catching falling bugs, saving the day in many different ways as the other bugs look on in amazement and gratitude. The rhyming text is fun to read aloud, and the incredibly detailed illustrations, painted in miniature with gouache, scanned, and then [...]

    3. "Antennae up, eyes down. Buzzing all around the town. Super Bugs, Super Bugs, mighty, mighty Super Bugs" - so begins this tribute to a trio of new superheroes out to rescue bugs in need. Bill Mayer's rich gouache paintings (originally the size of thumbnails) pair nicely with Michelle Meadow's rhyming text and play with perspective - from a whopper bopper of a tomato to the impending doom of a human foot. With fun insect facts on the endpapers, this should appeal to young bug enthusiasts and will [...]

    4. Some bugs are super! Internal rhymes, rhyming couplets and repetition make this an excellent read aloud choice. The text is large, readable and bold. The gouache illustrations were rendered as miniature painting then blown up digitally--It offers a slight ethereal feel to the illustrations. Maybe that is not quite the right word, but they illustration feel soft and fuzzy, yet brightly detailed.A great little book !

    5. An insect's life is full of peril. But have no fear, the Super Bugs are here! They save butterflies, mosquitoes, and butterflies! This is a simple story that younger kids will enjoy. The cute illustrations bring the story to life. Pages 25 and 26, with the lineup of all the bugs are especially delightful.

    6. Super Bugs has stunning illustrations and a fun rhyme that make for a winning combination. This was a fun read and the pictures were vibrant and added to the story about superhero insects. Sure to be a top pick for bedtime for the young reader.

    7. Bugs are everywhere.but what aboutbumbumbum.Super Bugs.orable illustrations will take kids and adults alike on a fun journey. This would easily fall into the Science category of STEM especially if some non-fiction was added.

    8. This is an adorable book well illustrated for kids and MOMS who are afraid of all bugs like me. In this book the super bugs save some of the most adorable bugs around including the cutest Daddy Long Legged Spider ever. GOD I hate spiders except maybe the little daddy long legged guy in this book

    9. Cute story in rhyme, doesn't always make sense. Engaging and humorous art though there isn't a ton a distinction between bugs and the scale is wonky.
