    1. A fast, compelling read! Mason's twists kept me guessing at who could be trusted. A fun and exciting novel.

    2. This was a 'finish in less than 24 hours' book for me. Action, adventure, romance, & suspense--this book has is all! I love the exotic Egyptian setting. I visited many of the places and sites referenced in the book years ago so it was fun to relive that experience through The Ring of Remaliha. With the spunky main character April Tanner there isn't a dull page and the plot twists and turns kept me guessing until the final chapter. Super loved this book!

    3. I so LOVED this story!Archaeological digs, ancient ring, hidden clues, unsolved codes, treasure, conspiracy, travel, secretsIt's all here!Strong female character and an exotic location make this a very fun read!Your heart will pound as you watch April get in and out of trouble, trust and then get betrayed, and ultimately solve the mystery--GREAT! GREAT! STORY!LOVE THIS AUTHOR!Grab a copy of this one for the upcoming weekend!

    4. This reads like an Indiana Jones mystery, but the archaeologist is a woman. After losing her boyfriend, April is embroiled in a mystery surround an ancient ring. Somehow the ring is the key to finding an ancient treasure, but she is unsure who she can trust. A fun read. I will look for more by this author.

    5. a little too little. too few descriptions of who and what. it made the Egyptian ruins more confusing than mysterious and the plot twists more choppy than interesting.

    6. 2.5 The story is cute, if pretty fantastic. It needs quite a bit of editing but exotic locale and romance are like candy.

    7. Definitely a page turner. I've always wanted to visit Egyptian tombs and this book made me feel like I was there.

    8. I am always hesitant reading new books from new authors because I have very limited time to read and don't want to waste it on a mediocre book. That being said I am very glad I took a chance on this book. This book was fun to read and had great twists and turns, some which I could see coming but a few that caught me off guard. The author also did a great job tying up the loose ends those plot twists presented. Now I must admit I hate books where the main characters do something really stupid (li [...]

    9. When the book you’re reading begins with the heroine receiving an ancient Egyptian ring in the mail from her recently deceased boyfriend with his dying request for her to solve its mystery, you know you’re in for an on-the-edge-of-your seat experience . . . and indeed it was! Melanie Mason takes us on an Indian Jones-like experience following April Tanner—an independently strong woman and famed Egyptologist—as she unravels the mystery of Remaliha’s treasure. Mason parallels the twists [...]

    10. I loved Mason's The Line That Divides, so I was excited to read her new work. April Tanner is another great heroine challenged with trying to decide who she can trust. The twists and turns of the plot mirror her journey of discovery in Egypt. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, one more surprise led to the resolution of all April's questions and mine. This was a great way to spend a rainy weekend.

    11. The main characters name is April Tanner, so I had reason to like the story right away. I thought about becoming an archeologist but didn't, so it is fun to read about. April specializes in jewelry but knows a lot about general Egyptian history as well. Intrigue and danger await as April heads to Egypt to help with a project near Luxor. It all revolves around a ring.

    12. Suspense/International Crime. Loved the basic story line, but would have liked it written a little tighter. Slow at times. Liked it well enough to read a sequel, if there is one. Some violence. Can't remember if there's swearing or not, but if so, it's mild.3 1/2 stars.

    13. Such a fun story -- with delightful unexpected twists. I did find myself a little confused here and there, but it didn't take much more reading to clear that confusion. Can't wait for her next book!

    14. Another great story from this young author. Kept me guessing right to the end. Can't wait to get my copy of the new book, Crossing Lines.

    15. This book wasn't bad, it just wasn't engaging. If you want to read novels involving Egypt, archaeology, romance and intrigue, check out Elizabeth Peters. She adds humor.
