    1. Another Susan Mallery winnerThis touching romance combines the feelings of a woman for her first love, her love of his child that reminds her of what she might have had with him and her fears because she was CHXXX while he was white. Susan reminds us of how fear can keep us from what we most want. Everything about this story, from love of the country to the gifts of healing, to the pleasure and support neighbors bring. 2. Although I liked both Ruth and Caleb, this story was just Okay to me. Zeke, was also a heartwarming little boy, but even he couldn't cause me to add stars to my rating. I agree with another reviewer that the story is kind of predictable, with no real big surprises. And it went on for an uncomfortable amount of time, at least that's how it seemed to me. I like most of what this author h [...]

    3. PatheticThis book was a great disappointment. It was predictable, had nothing to recommend reading it. This is the worst book I've read by this author

    4. Ruth and CalebI enjoyed this book but it wasn't as good as her other series. It is about an Indian woman being in love with a while man.
