    1. Sheridan comes back to the hometown she fled right after high school to look after her father who fell and broke his wrist and ankle, cause of fall unknown. So while they are awaiting tests and the results, she uncomfortably waits, trying to find a home health aide for her father, who she calls by his first name and avoid the rest of the town folk, mainly Ridge Sutton, a high school brief crush, bane of her existence and the reason she fled town right after high school, right after her mother's [...]

    4. Sheridan Davis,  a best selling feminist author hasn't been home to Sutton Falls since her mother passed away. The victim of bullying,  Sheridan has worked hard to put her high school trauma behind her. When her father gets injured and needs her help, Sheridan returns home determined to hire a home health aide and then leave. She wants nothing to do with the town or its inhabitants,  especially her high school crush,  Ridge Sutton. Ridge is now the mayor of Sutton Falls and he's also freshly [...]

Coming back is hard because of what happened to her in high school and especially at prom. She had a thing for Ridge Sutton and apparently this attraction did not go away after all these years. But will she let the past hold her back from love and happiness? [...]

    6. Easy but enjoyable read. This is the third in a connected series of four (as in characters are connected but can be read independently). The main characters are likable and I enjoyed the story as it unfolded.
