    1. "I wasn't giving up yet. I wasn't giving up at all. I had too many reasons to survive."Quanta Reset picks up right where the last book ended with Quanta and Altair at the Shadow Ravens' compound. Quanta is still struggling with her powers, and being surrounded by so many people is not helping her. She's constantly surrounded by visions making it hard for her to even walk near the other Ravens, and the only thing that calms her is being near Altair. The story continues to be told through both of t [...]

    2. Quanta Reset is absolutely wonderful! It picks up right where the last book left off. If you liked the first book, I will guarantee you'll love this one.Quanta isn't used to controlling her visions with this many people around, no matter how hard she tries, she just can't have full control. When visions of a spy in the compound flood Quanta's head, they make it their mission to find him, and bring him in for questioning. When Quanta unintentionally kills the spy, Tair realizes that Quanta is des [...]

    3. functioninginsanity.cRating: 5 Shadow Ravens When we left off Quanta and Tair had managed to unlock her new power and escape from Dr. Nagi and rejoin the Shadow Ravens and Lady Eva and while things were better than being prisoners they were far from happy go lucky. Quanta was struggling being around so many people and focusing with the constant assault of time ghosts, the pasts and possible futures and let's not forget they are in a war and in hiding. We pick up quickly after that. Quanta is st [...]

    5. 3.5 StarsDESCRIPTION:Quanta has escaped her laboratory prison, but that’s where the good news ends.Life at the Shadow Ravens’ compound is a disaster. She’s drowning in visions of the dark pasts and darker futures of her fellow Ravens and is plagued by her own panic-inducing memories, but Lady Eva still expects her to “train” and “participate in missions.” Plus, the food tastes like burnt plastic. The only bright spot is her genetic pairing to the brilliant Altair Orpheus. 6. I gave it 3.5 starsI had enjoyed both of the books so far in The Shadow Ravens series so when I saw that it was continuing with QUANTA RESET, I didn't hesitate to grab a review copy.QUANTA RESET continues the series with a great quick pace and easy flow. The characters continue to develop and learn what they can do on their own and as a team. Quanta is having a hard time being so close to so many people, but Altair continues to be a great support to her. Although I liked the story and didn't hav [...]

    7. As Quanta’s powers seem to grow after the first book,Quanta herself is growing weaker. She’s destabilizing, with timeghosts showing a likely future where she explodes killing innocent and guilty alike. We're pressed up against the glass holding our breath waiting to see which will win: the power to take down her enemies or the seemingly inevitable self-destruct that erases even her allies? Then her Clone enters the picture and Tair is captured by the Seligo. I thought that Quanta Reset had pl [...]

    8. I'm just going to come right out and say it. I think that this is a great follow up to Quanta; better than Quanta. In part, I think that is because I know the characters now. I want them to succeed. I am invested in their fictional lives. But is also because the author has done such a good job with the narrative. In this book, confusion and instability reigns, and this leeches through the page into the brain of the reader to ensure that the readers mood mirrors that of the protagonists. The resolu [...]

    9. I'm surprised that the series will continue focusing on Quanta. Her powers are cool and I enjoy her as a character but I also really liked Cipher. I kind of figured that each book in the series would be a new red and a new escape. And while this book was enjoyable it was also fairly short with a very simplified ending. Still good and I still plan on continuing but I was hoping for more.

    10. Nice storyIt was a nice story so many things happening. Quanta is a very strong character I love her, she never give up and always people in front of her own need. I like to see how her and Tair interact together. I can't wait to read the next book.

    11. There was just something about this one that prevents me giving it a 4 stars rating. Just really struggled considering how good the first 2 books in the series were.

    12. Dear goodness, this book was wonderful! I know you’re probably looking up at that score like “what the heck when the other two got 5’s?” And so I’ll tell you. While I still absolutely love this world and the characters in it, and I totally can’t get enough of this story, I felt like it took a little longer to get into the meat of the action in this one. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The setting changed dramatically in this book, and when you change the setting, there’s a wh [...]

    13. 3.5 stars. This is very much a bridge book. If you haven’t read the previous story (Quanta) you will get lost trying to follow along with this one. And it might leave you a little frustrated that the third of Quanta’s books isn’t out just yet.I found this read every bit as fast as the last one, but Quanta spends most of it diminished, struggling to cope with where recent events have left her and the prospect of her power going out of control. Tair too is playing catch up, wrapping his head [...]

    16. Quanta Reset is book three in The Shadow Ravens series and is the second book told in Quanta's POV. I've enjoyed the other books in this series and will be intrigued to see which book comes out next. The original idea behind the series was to have three different authors write three different interconnecting books with different lead characters. But we've had two with Quanta so far written by Lola Dodge, love that author by the way! So I'm not sure if Quanta will get another book next or if it w [...]

    17. 10/45 books read in 2017.I really really enjoyed this part 3 in the series. I loved the twists and turns and I definitely was surprised a couple of times. I wish I had read this in less days, but uni got in the way. I do have to say that it was engaging enough to stretch the month it took me to read it ;)

    18. Continuing on in the Shadow Ravens series, we get to see more of Quanta as she struggles to stay alive and protect those around her. Since the last book in the series, Quanta has grown more unstable in her time oriented powers and is slowly falling apart. Unfortunately though, she doesn't have time to deal with that as her old captors are out to kill or capture her and everybody she has grown to love deeply, preferably kill. With even more lives at stake, every choice she makes is critical, good [...]

    19. I received an ARC through NetGalley.Quanta Reset picks up right where Quanta left off. Although, I will admit that I didn’t immediately remember where we left off. There are plenty of reminders though, so I settled back into this world within a few chapters. Quanta and Altair are working with the Shadow Ravens, but they also have to worry about the fact that Quanta’s powers are going a little haywire. This could mean very, very bad things for her if they can’t figure out what’s causing i [...]

    20. I enjoyed Quanta, so when I saw Quanta Reset on NetGalley, I requested it right away. The Good: This is an excellent continuation of the Shadow Ravens series. Like book two, the writing is tense, fast-paced, and there is a surprise or two for long-time science fiction readers. The Bad: I get the point of view switching. It’s a common trope in fiction, but I didn’t care at all about Tair’s POV. He’s important to the story insomuch that his interaction with Quanta is significant, but he’s [...]

    21. pooled ink Reviews:As Quanta’s powers seem to grow, Quanta herself grows weaker. She’s destabilizing. We are pressed up against the glass holding our breath waiting to see which will win: the power to take down her enemies or the seemingly inevitable self-destruct that erases even her allies?Plenty of twists, action, and adrenaline pumping scenes fly from the pages and it kept me captivated and anxious to know how on earth it could possibly all turn out. Really this book puts on quite a powe [...]

    22. I was invited to review this title through Netgalley. I liked so much the previous titles in this series. This one is a bit darker.Quanta is struggling. The freedom, the safe harbor at Raven heartquarters, her genetic pairing with the wonderful Alistair. .l of this will mean nothing if she is destabilising. Because a red as powerful as her will go boom. Literally. If this is not enough, there's the teeny-weeny fact that she has a clone who's working rather willingly with the enemy. This book sort [...]

    23. I find the storyline interesting and really enjoyed the other two books in this series but this one wasted too much time on describing her destabilizing! I had to put the book down multiple times because I was bored with reading what I felt was the same thoughts over and over. I almost gave up but I did find the ending was better. Too bad the Author didn't have that happened around halfway through the book and then progress the story. If she would have, I would have rated it a 5 star.

    24. I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.Good story. I should have re-read the first book to remember everything. The conclusion felt a little rushed, but all and all I enjoyed this story.

    25. What A Ride!Love this storyline and the new super characters introduced each book. Fun, fast paced read that will keep you lost between the pages till the end.
