    1. I was pleasantly surprised! I was in the mood for a western romance. My first read of Henderson. Well written, well defined characters. Written in the tone and voice of the day. Some violence that was common in the time period and prejudices of the time period. Matthew Conway and White Fawn are not your typical Hero/heroine, but the story runs in somewhat predictable directions. Kept my interest, wanted to see what the outcome was!
