    1. I bought this book years ago because it's about an Emily. Now it's a favorite of ours. A young girl and her little brother love playing in the oak tree. One night it transforms into a pirate ship and they sail to the ends of the earth. Lovely story about imagination, adventure and the beauty of a good tree.July 2, 2012

    2. 3.5 StarsThe Cover is deceptive - I wasn't sure what I was getting into. However, this is a book about a Oak Treed the imagination of the child easy is it for an oak tree become a pirate ship!I liked the picture and the story and the ending was a sad but great ending!

    3. I liked how the story shows the adventure of a brother and sister with their favorite tree being turned into a ship. In the end, the tree does end up falling down, but the children take their treasure to grow a new tree.

    4. Really this is the best type of fairy tale. Don't miss the chance to read it to your kids before they grow up too fast.
