    1. My students really enjoy this book. I really love how the author portrays the characters, especially the teacher. This books use lots of great adjectives to describe what is happening in the story. I use this book in the winter time to teach word choice and details.

    2. My three and four year old preschool students love this story. They laugh at Miss Irma as we read the story. Over and over again they ask to read this book, even though this book is considered long for their age group to read, they sit and listen to every word of every page. It is a great funny book.

    3. Teacher Irma Birmbaum just doesn't know when to "chill out." Even though it was a snow day, she skied to the school to get the children's homework. She is "electrocuted" (I think) and becomes a abominable snow teacher that tries to get the children to learn on the snow day. Eventually all is righted and Miss Birmbaum mellows out a bit.Okay illustrations.

    4. A teacher grows fur and turns into the abominable snow monster in this woefully mediocre picture book. It might get a laugh from very young kids. I was glad to read it, to fully appreciate the wealth of other high quality picture books out there.
