First and foremost despite the presence of an ISBN this is clearly more of a fan published affair but given how cosplay is such a niche and new thing that doesn’t automatically send it to the trash bin. The cover/photo quality does raise questions as to the rest of the book’s quality. It’s a hefty book though at over 350 pages and the text itself is laid out in an easy to read format.     2. A very good overview of cosplay for a beginner, from the basics of choosing and constructing your cosplay to your first time basics of a convention. I bought more for the construction and materials advice, which it provides some very handy advice and sources. If you are already a cosplayer, it's too simplistic, I imagine, but as it is titled for a beginner, it fulfills as an intro to cosplay.
