    1. This is the textbook I use for teaching Composition I and II at Brown Mackie College. The cover I have is more attractive. There is green lettering on a white cover with an attractive design on the front cover. Anyway, the textbook was updated and I like it. The chapters are easy to navigate and there are interesting essays for students to peruse and reflect.

    2. The book introduces argumentation and rhetoric in a way simple enough for lower-level college composition students to grasp. It almost makes me wish we could use two texts for students: one for higher level and one for lower-level 111 and 108 students. This suits the higher level 108 and the lower level 111. Provides a nice bridge. Criticism: A bit repetitive.
