    1. 3.5 stars rounded up. I don't know how to feel about these three stories. I really enjoyed them, the writing is very good, and the characters are easily loved. But. I'd put the book down to go do something and I forgot what I was reading. Worse I never felt the pull to get back into the story. Then when I'd read again I was easily and quickly immersed in the world and the story. I am not sure the language was always period correct either which floated in the back of my mind a lot. So.     2. This is not a bad author, far from it and I know the title says "Erotic Romance". This is not porn. The characters are well-rounded and what world-building there is, is decent but really, I can sum up the whole series (for me) with one sentence. Less fucking, more world-building. It's a pity because it's an unusual and very interesting period in time for a historical romance but I would have preferred to actually learn a bit more about that time. Ah, well.
