    1. A wonderful storyThis is a tale told from the heart. It is well written, engaging and moving. This could be your mother, your life, if you had married a Frenchman in Africa and come home to Vermont during an interruption of owls. It is a bit of a cliffhanger though. We are left at the beginning of Sara's mourning. I am intrigued by what may come next.
