    1. Dancing in the Sand is a heartfelt book. The emotional ride of the characters kept me turning the pages. I was really rooting for their happy ending. Ava’s yearning for a life she gave up is palpable. When life seems unfair to her in so many ways, her long lost love reenters her life. Brian also hasn’t followed his heart or the path that he wanted. And together is looked like they would be able to start again, but the secret that Ava hid from Brian (I don’t want to give any spoilers) wreck [...]

    2. A fun read with quite a few twists. Thoroughly enjoyed - a great love story about a very talented dancer who sacrificed her dream for a child.

    3. 4.5 Stars!Dancing in the Sand by Maria Imbalzano is an intense and emotional read. This is the story of Ava Woodward, an aspiring ballet dancer on her way to becoming a successful ballerina with a professional dance company. Unfortunately she has to give up her dream after a night of passion with her best friend's older brother. With the exception of her sister, Ava has never told anyone about her rendezvous with Brian. Seven years later, when her weekdays are all about being an associate lawyer [...]

    4. I loved this book from beginning to end. It 's a romantic and intense story, about how love can change forever people's lives and even their dreams.Ava and Carrie are great friends and they share the dream of dance, to become great dancers. Carrie and her brother Brian organized a meeting with their friends of College in their guest house. For Ava, this weekend will be the most beautiful and ugliest of her life and everything will change forever. A beautiful night, a romantic ride under the star [...]

    5. I got this as an ARC from Net Galley for an honest review & all I can say is WOW, I wish I could give this book more that 5 stars because it definitely deserves them. This emotionally packed book has me thinking of how I felt when reading Laurie Kellogg's The Memory of You. This book was so powerful & made my heart ache for Ava & Brian whose lives had been changed in an instant. What started out as a fun weekend turned 2 families upside down. Brian after being in a devastating riding [...]

    6. Ava is following her dream of dancing until she realizes he weekend with Brian had dire consequences so she moves on to change her career. Brian does not remember his weekend with Ava as the same weekend he had a serious accident. Forward to years later Brian and Ava meet up in the office she works foe. He immediately wants to be with her and she is hiding back. The discovery of what they had and what the past brought to them is what this story is about. Some parts held my attention well and som [...]

    7. Basically, this is about second chance at love trope. But it didn't do it for me. Too much angst and trust issues between characters for my liking. Some people may enjoy the conflicts.
