    1. njkinnysblog/2015/07/b Rating: 4.5/5The Eligible Princess by Summerita Rhayne is the second book in the Kamboj Princesses Saga but my first read of the series. Despite being part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.I loved the sketched cover of the book and then was intrigued by the blurb which gave a glimpse of an intense story with a headstrong heroine, an alpha hero and their hurdles filled romance set in the rich historical background of India.Intrigued and full of expectations of a [...]

    2. I was lucky enough to read an ARC of the first book in this series, “Hidden Passion”, so I didn’t hesitate a moment when I was asked whether I’d read the second book too. And I have to say, even though I already loved Book 1 a lot, I loved Book 2 even more!“The Eligible Princess” starts from the male POV, allowing us to catch a glimpse of King Kartikeya and his less than royal past. I was instantly intrigued about him – past, present and future – but also a bit sceptical whether [...]

    3. Though this is the second book in the saga, I felt I could relate to the book even though I have not read the first book of the saga. The ancient names, even names of the parts of the clothing and even the endearments have been chosen very diligently. The cover is beautiful. The characters have been developed well and so were the scenes of the palace, I could actually visualize the princess playing pachisi or even looking through the spy-glass to name a few. The conversation between the character [...]

    4. Summerita ! I just love your work ! I loved this one moreank you for transferring me to another world of royals and romance ! Please keep writing such stories !

    5. I have read the first book and was eager to read what was in store for the second princess. The story, series and characters are all well fleshed out. The setting, the palaces and the lifestyle of royalty transported me to the bygone era.The story is about getting the Princess Lakshya married and about the new King Kartik looking for a suitable queen, who would also cement his social standing in the society. The fun part is when the two meet and interact and sparks just flew off the pages of the [...]

    6. As the title states, this story is about a princess who has reached her marriageable age but sadly nobody has been able to calibrate up to her eligibility. No, it was not that she was not eligible enough to tie knots but just that the time was yet not right for her or say, the right time for the man to enter into her life. Join the author as she transcends you all through the layers of history under the linen of fiction. Why am I using such comparisons? Because, the urge of a female to prove her [...]

    7. Entertaining! I've read both of Summerita's historical romances her princesses are docile on the surface but bubbling with rebellion inside. They'd remind you of any one of us - and yet they existed hundreds of years ago. The period is richly captured by the author through the costumes, modes of transport, weapons and especially their manner of speaking! What I wouldn't give to be a maharani of that era - getting jasmine oil massages and consorting with princes anyhow, coming back to the story, [...]

    8. Romance is not my usual genre of preference. But my interest about The eligible Princess was piqued when a common friend suggested the author's books. Summerita's efforts on researching the historical details shows. The characters are well etched and their exchanges make for an enjoyable read. Hard core historical fiction/period fantasy fans might find the plot a bit too simple, but the fans of historical romance genre would really love the story. I shall look forward for more historical romance [...]

    9. The cover of the book is very attractive that makes one want to grab the book and read it.The presentation of the book is very well narrated backed with superb research. The narrative of the story is very intriguing as it has history and romance mixed with it in liberal doses. The author has done a detailed research which reflects in her story as has the power to transport you back in that time and make you live the love story as you witness it unfolding before your eyes.Read the whole review at: [...]

    10. I enjoyed the last story in this series, but I loved this one more. Intense passion, mysterious landscape and the expectations of royalty. A great read that will keep you turning the page.
