    1. Aw, hurty comforty mutual Sterek man pain, how do I love thee? The answer to that would be a fuck of a lot, but I'm not so fond of the (view spoiler)[fade to black deep dickin' (hide spoiler)]. No, sirree. But the rest was just about perfect. Thanks for the rec, Jen & Rachel!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

    2. A post-3B Canon Divergence about broken Stiles and Derek healing each other. When things hit rock bottom, there’s nowhere to get but better. It's amazing.

    3. Stiles' POV, takes place in that weird vague period of time between S3B and S4. Spoiler for show:(view spoiler)[Kate does take Derek at the end of 3B, but this fic puts a new twist of what happens and how he is rescued and all. No de-aging Derek in this. And really the twist has a small part in the fic. The fic is primarily the Sterek relationship afterwards. (hide spoiler)]This is a very wounded - emotionally and sexually - Derek. AND a self loathing, Post-Nogitsune Stiles. So like a hundred on [...]

    4. 4.5 StarsThis was a prime example of how canon Sterek should be written. The aftermath of the nogitsune is understandably rough on all, especially Stiles as he grapples with his guilt. Derek who knows a thing or two about such guilt, allows them to meet on common ground and actually make a stronger connection. This was not a fun or funny canon piece but actually a quite painful and raw look at these two's struggles. Each being masochistic, feeling undeserving. Each with their own brand of despai [...]

    5. 3.5 StarsMy boys are so broken; it hurts my heart. Loved this sad, yet hopeful fic.(view spoiler)[There was promise of Bottom!Stiles in the tagsblatant lie! Grrr! One star removed because I'm a perverted bitch and want my smexy Sterek action, always (hide spoiler)]

    6. Emotional, heartfelt hurt/comfort Sterek where they both help each other accept the past and start living again. Well done. I liked that there was no rush, but the transition felt realistic.

    7. I forgot that I had read this (must have been when glommed a lot of theroguesgambit' fics after enjoying Cross a Canyon) already when Rachel recommended this story, but this was great to read again. It was great to see Derek and Stiles helping each other overcome their residual pain from the Nogitsune and Kate's kidnapping.

    8. How do I not love this? It's post 3B which always gets me. It has some great Sterek feels, and I mean really great. And it shows a lot of healing. Lots and lots of it.Yep. This was a great post 3B Sterek fic. Definitely recommended if, like me, you like that!

    9. This is what I like about Sterek. The way both characters are damaged but manage to reach a common ground, understand each other and help each other. Amidst everyone else, it is just the two of them that see beyond the appearances and have the ability to make a difference for the other.Stiles is recovering in the aftermath left by the Nogitsune. There is a lot of guilt, remorse, shame which makes it hard for him to be around the group. It's hard for Stiles to draw the line between what the Nogit [...]

    10. "Regression to the mean. When things hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to get but better."Oh that was very good. Angst ridden Derek and Stiles heal together. I approve. "He's beyond beautiful, and maybe a little bit broken, and brave and lonely and loyal and loves Stiles."

    11. This is the kind of post-3B work I want to see all over GR and all over AO3.Some owlpostagain-type quality, delicately handled but choking you with emotion, and getting that TW tone just right all the way through.

    12. Post-nogitsune Stiles and tortured Derek. Lots of anguish and some getting off.Together, safe, surviving, and working their way back towards fineage 'Hearts A Mess' by wyxan not connected but

    13. This one was beautiful with emotional stiles and derek, and I loved the connection between them I just felt like I wanted more of the story and the characters, overall it was a good read.

    14. This story seemed rough at the start, unpolished, but really that set the mood for the whole piece. An enjoyable read.
