    1. An interesting volume from a very interesting part of Ireland. I like the local ghost and fairy lore the most; the book also re-tells the Táin and the youth of Fionn Mac Cool, but I was not really captivated by those (probably because I already knew them). Some stories were humorous, others fascinating, but none really jumped out at me more than the others.
