I can't wait to get my hands on the actual book. The illustrations are beautiful and let me tell you, I was taken back to the world just reading about all of the different creatures that I remembered as the book went over them. The book also talks about the different gadgets, potions, places, etc of the book. If you have never [...]

    2. I loved this. The illustrations are amazing, and it has me so excited to get my hands on Dragonwatch!! My only qualm would be a lack of any new information of the artifacts, creatures, etc. that we already met in the series. This would be an awesome vague refresher if you need one before the next series starts coming out though!

    3. E ARC provided by publisherThis beautifully illustrated guide has entries on anything that could possibly need more explaining in the books from the Fablehaven series. There are chapters on Artifacts and Items, Creatures, Demons, Dragons, Locations, Wizards. Done in full color, the pages also include notes from Kendra and Seth as well as items that look like they are taped into the book. The descriptions are done seriously, so are quite helpful when reading the books, but are also done with humo [...]

    4. I can’t even tell you how incredibly surprised and excited I was to receive an email from Brandon Mull’s publicist offering Aaron and myself a free copy of Mull’s new novel The Caretaker’s Guide to Fablehaven. Brandon Mull is one of my favorite authors. He is incredibly imaginative, a wizard with words, and an inspiration. His series Fablehaven is one of my ultimate favorite fantasy series of all time. I’ve kept up with it since book 1 first came out. In Mull’s five book series he ha [...]

    5. I received a digital copy of this title from the publisher via Netgalley.Ten Second Synopsis:An engaging encyclopaedia of the peoples, places and things of the world of Fablehaven, complete with eye-popping illustrations. It’s really hard to describe how stunningly beautiful this book is without being able to give you the chance to flick through it. 6. I read the Fablehaven series before I started blogging, and I loved it. It was so much fun and I am looking forward to the time when Miss K is old enough for me to read them with her.The Caretaker's Guide to Fablehaven is a companion book to the Fablehaven series. It explores the various creatures, magical items, and locations found in the books and gives a short explanation for each. Of course, Brandon Dorman's illustrations are all throughout this book as well and give a wonderful visual to ma [...]

    7. Won a free copy through FirstReads! (After I had read the book)Very nice illustrations throughout the book. Some of the entries were so short and lacking in any real information that they seem somewhat worthless, but there were some entries long and packed with neat details. I liked the creatures that I could not remembering hearing of, in mythology or otherwise, or that especially intrigued me, such as:Peryton - Winged stagStingbulb - Plant that makes a clone of someoneAlcetaur - Moose centaur [...]

    8. I've read all of the Fablehaven books so I was very excited to win The Caretaker's Guide to Fablehaven in a giveaway hosted by manoflabook. First of all - its a nice, big, glossy hardcover book. It even has one of those fancy red ribbon build in bookmarks. Second, is that it is a thorough and wonderfully illustrated field guide. The book starts off with an introduction to the reader who is a presumed caretaker or apprentice caretaker of Fablehaven. Then it is split up into 6 sections. Those secti [...]

    11. Initially, the cover of this book caught my eye. I'd never read the Fablehaven series, which this book is a companion to, but it made me want to learn more about the series. Inside, the book is filled with awesome drawings and amusing little notes "left" by the MC's of the series. It's divided into sections such as "Creatures", "Dragons", and "Artifacts & Items" just to name a few. It took me almost a couple of months to read and review this book because I was so impressed by it, I wanted to [...]

    12. This book is so much fun. I enjoyed the trip down Fablehaven memory lane. Brandon Dorman's illustrations were perfect and Brandon's writings were fun and creative, just like this amazing series. I loved the "handwritten" notes from Seth and Kendra, and other characters, even Newell contributed his advice. Reading the pages I was taken back to when I first discovered this series, and was reminded how much I loved it. I need to read the books again, and very soon. Fablehaven is a long-time favorit [...]

The book shows pictures of creatures can help you and creatures that can harm you. To read this book you need to use your imagenation to picture what it is telling you to do. 14. This book is beautifully illustrated! The quality is excellent. This book is a companion to the Fablehaven books. It can be looked at and enjoyed by children who love to see magical creatures, artifacts, etc. (Both the good and the bad). There are many references to the books, if you haven't read them yet you should!

    15. What a clever book! It well reviews much of what went on throughout the original series and equally well introduces the (as of October 2015) upcoming series. I am very much excited to read the new series next year and become reemmersed into the wonderful world that Mr. Mull created.

    16. Absolutely amazing. The illustrations, notes, layout, neat information, and tantalizing hints were all incredibly enjoyable.

    17. I actually was imagining the character/creatures wrong until I read this book. There is so much insight on the creatures and I would love to see more.

    18. While the illustrations were absolutely gorgeous and really helped me visualize some of the creatures, objects, and beings from Fablehaven, this book did not actually add much information to the series. Regardless, the artwork is stunning and made the book worth my time.

    19. The Caretaker's Guide to Fablehaven by Brandon Mull is a companion book to the popular series. It is illustration by Brandon Dorman. Fans of Fablehaven know every one of the dragons and mythical creatures in the series has a name and a special power and in the text they’re described as all looking very different. But they’ve existed only in our imagination, until now. This book is the first visual discovery of ALL the creatures in the series and is written as if you, the reader, is the new c [...]

    20. Beautifully done. The artwork is fantastic, even for the titles alone. I liked the side notes by the characters from the books some of which were silly such as Seth stating that wraiths make great gifts. Other comments tried to guide readers with wisdom such as “We wage war between the person we are and the person we hope to become.” I love going behind the scenes to go further into Fablehaven. It reminded me why I liked this book series in the first place. It’s fun seeing what you imagine [...]

    21. If you’ve never read the Fablehaven series, I urge you to give it a try. It is an epic fantasy series about a secret preserve for mythical creatures. Rules must be followed and keepers in Fablehaven are charged with watching over their realms. Each of the 5 books in the series are just as good as the next and Mull’s writing is compelling and smooth with a touch of humor. As you can imaging I was very excited to crack this book open. Not only was I not disappointed, I was also pleasantly surpr [...]

    22. I am a HUGE fan of the Fablehaven series. Not since Harry Potter has a middle grade series caught and maintained my adult (and I use that term loosely) attentions and tastes with such alacrity. I’ve read them all several times, and finishing the final chapter is always bittersweet – it ends so well, but I never want it to stop. BUT NOW THE JOURNEY CONTINUES!!! And I couldn’t be more thrilled. The Caretaker’s Guide is just what the doctor ordered to hold me over until the new novel (Dragon [...]

    23. Well if you love the Fablehaven books then of course you're going to love this book! It provides deeper insight into all elements of the stories—people, places, and things. There's funny and insightful asides from the original characters, and it quickly brings the reader back to a familiar setting. Mull's fantastic writing ability shines, since many entries read like his books. But what really shines, of course, are the AMAZING illustrations. Whether you've read Fablehaven or not, there are som [...]

    24. A guidebook to the Fablehaven magical preserve, filled with everything a new Caretaker needs to know to survive.I loved Fablehaven, so when I saw this title on Netgalley I had to read it. This is a perfect companion to the Fablehaven series and honestly, I can’t find anything bad to say about it.I received an e-book, and even in that format it looks absolutely gorgeous. The book is filled with art and drawings of various creatures, places and artefacts you may recognize from the Fablehaven ser [...]
