    1. This middle book of the series keeps the action going at a breakneck pace!! I spotted the plot twist for the end of book 3 in this book, but I barely had time to dwell on it! Such an intense ride! Book 2 brings in a new angle, as after the incidents in book 1, Agent Harris is replaced. Will his replacement mean good things, or bad things for the case? You will have to read and see!!! Reposting from Book 1's review:These books are leveled as early 5th grade, and that's also the age I would recomm [...]

    2. Personal Response- I thought The Search was a decent book. I liked that there were multiple plot twists. A young girl was kidnapped and her brother was looking for her. Every time her brother thought he was close to finding her, something would happen and he would be on the wrong track. Plot- In the beginning, Meg was being held captive by Spidey and Tiger. The FBI almost caught the kidnappers but they escaped and moved to a new location. Aiden, Meg's younger brother, decided to follow the kidna [...]

    3. Reviewed by Frizzie for TeensReadTooIn the sequel to THE ABDUCTION, the Falconers and the FBI are still frantically searching for Meg. It has been a little over a week since she was kidnapped and Aiden is getting restless. He hasn't slept, he's barely eaten, and a new agent has just been assigned to the case. After the FBI got very close to getting Meg back, the kidnappers decide to move her to a new location. The new location is nearly impossible to find. But Meg doesn't give up hope. She is st [...]

    4. Personal Response.I enjoyed the book, Kidnapped, by Gordon Korman, because I could relate to the characters very well. I learned that even in the worse kidnappings there is always a way out. I also learned that if someone truly loves another person who is in his family, he would do anything it takes to get him back. I think the author did a great job of telling the story.Plot. In the beginning of the story, Aiden is looking for his kidnapped sister Meg. Aiden being a fugitive of the law before h [...]

    5. Rereading this to my kids. Quick-paced, with Meg trying to escape and Aiden trying to find her through the clues she's left.

    6. This book was really cool and awesome. Sadly, I did not read the first one, so I was missing out on somethings, but it was still good. I can't wait to read the 3rd one.

    7. Personal Response: I think Gordon Korman wrote this book very well. I was hooked on reading this book and wanted to find out what was going to happen to Meg and Aiden Falconer next. It was hard to predict whether a new lead to Meg's location was going to pop up or if a new posting on the blog hog's website from her captors was going to appear. I didn't like how the book ended, but I guess that's why there are more books to the series.Plot: Meg and Aiden Falconer were walking together down a side [...]

    8. I read "Kidnapped" by Gordon Korman, and I thought the book was set up almost perfectly. It would skip back and forth between Aiden and Meg so that you knew what the two of them were going through, while Aiden was trying to hunt his sister down breaking into houses thinking that's where she was hidden. The author kept the book very interesting to read the entire time. The situations that happened throughout the book kept me on the edge of my seat all the way until the end.The two main characters [...]

    9. I thought "Kidnapped" was a good book. It started out talking about these two kids and how they are fugitives that ran from the law. The most important thing I learned from this book is that when a kid tells you something that is true believe it, because even if you don’t believe it, it’s true."Kidnapped" started out telling the story of Meg in a trunk of a car for a long period of time. It also went back in time when Meg and Aiden were fugitives running from the police. After the story talk [...]

    10. This book Kidnapped: The Search was really good. Aiden is searching for his sister Meg who was kidnapped. Aiden and Meg`s life has not been easy. His family was,at one point, the most hated in the US. Aiden knows that the FBI is not doing everything they can to rescue Meg and he decides to take matter in his own hands. He decides to take the risk even after failing to rescue her once. Aiden knows that there's a chance he might not find her but he would do anything for his sister. I really liked [...]

    11. In this book a girl named Meg gets kidnapped and her brother is trying very hard to help find her. He follows “clues” Meg leaves behind and goes out on his own to track her down. This is a great book because it has a lot of detail to where I can see the story unfolding in my mind. One example is when Meg (the main character) is trapped in the trunk of her captors car. She finds a single bullet. She remembered from a book her dad had written that the main character struck the bullet so hard [...]

    12. This book was amazing! I love adventure, and this book gave me exactly that. When Meg Falconer is abducted, Aidan tries to find her, along with the police. He ends up risking his life to find her, only to get hurt. I really like how Gordon Korman adds in that bit about Meg's 'message' to Aidan, as it sort of tells the extent of their bond to the reader. Definitely read if you love action and adventure!

    13. This was so amazing! It's very short and is much like the first book in the fact that it is very exciting and fast paced. I would definitely recommend this book, but you should read the first one before it, otherwise the plot won't make sense. Also, there is a third book called "The Rescue" which is very good as well.

    14. Aiden and the FBI are still trying to find Meg. Meg is trying to escape on her own. Will she get out? Read this book to find out! This book is totally awesome! Once I had started reading this book, I couldn't stop!

    16. I really enjoyed reading “Kidnapped,” Book Two: “The Search” by Gordon Korman. The book “Kidnapped” is about Meg, an 11 year old girl who was kidnapped. Her brother, Aiden who is 15, saw her kidnapping is now trying to track her down. Their parents who are mystery book writers had been taken into custody in the previous book for a crime they didn’t commit. Both Aiden and Meg went on the run to help prove their innocence using the ideas their parents wrote about in books. In the end [...]

    17. Personal Response: I read the second book to the Kidnapped series written by Gordon Korman and really enjoyed it. There was never a dull moment when reading this book, because it was very fast paced. The details were phenomenal and I felt like I was in every character’s place throughout the book. 20. Meg Falconer has been kidnapped. But if there's one thing you should know about the Falconer kids, it's that they don't give up. Meg certainly doesn't give up trying to escape, but this time her efforts cost her dearly. After blowing out her captors' tire with a bullet and a tire iron, she almost gets away into the countryside, only to be stymied because of a unexpected rampaging bull. Locked in a cellar, she attempts to tunnel out but instead is nearly suffocated. Finally ending up tied to a ch [...]

    21. Meg is the main character in Kidnapped; The Rescue by Gordon Korman. When Meg gets kidnapped her family will stop at nothing to get her back. Her brother is just as worried as in the first book in this series. During that book Meg and Aiden were outside playing when suddenly a minivan pulled up grabbed Meg and tucked her in the car. Her brother was devastated, could eat, sleep, or even talk. Meg is always thinking of ways to get away. At first her kidnappers were disguised as Disney characters b [...]

    22. Kidnapped by Gordon Korman was about how a girl had been kidnapped from her family and her was relying on a lazy police officer from the FBI to find their daughter. Aiden did not trust in the new head of the case so he went out on his own, pretending to be his best friend, on the search for his sister. He went through some very hard terrains, and adventures, and had to keep going for he knew he was so close to finding his sister. At the end he knew he was so close but when he got caught by Emanu [...]

    23. The book that I read is called Kidnapped, the search, by Gordon Korman. The book is book #2 in the series when the FBI and the Falconers are still on a search for Megan Falconer. Aiden is eager to find her, believing that they will find her. When a report comes up that 4 bathroom stalls, each 100miles apart have toilet paper rolls shoved up the pipe, Aiden realizes that this is a clue from Megan on where she is headed. Megan had no hope that this hint would work, though it did. When Aiden told t [...]

    24. The book kidnapped is about a little girl who gets kidnapped and she has been missing for a while. No one has seen her, heard from her, or have had any contact from her either. She has a mother, a father, and an older brother. The older brother has been worried and unable to sleep, and his parents gave up looking for her because they think that their daughter is dead and gone for good. Her brother doesn't think that, he thinks that she is still alive. Then some people have been going to public b [...]

    25. This was a really good book. I could not put it down and it kept grabbing me back into to interest. In the first book meg falconer is kidknapped and there is no outcome in finding her. In his book, Aidan, Meg's sister, thinks he knows where meg is. Everyone thinks he silly and wouldn't believe him. He felt that he had no choice but to go out on his own. His best friend, Richie Pembleton, has given his jacket and baseball cap to Aidan for a discuse. When Aidan makes it to the right place he is al [...]

    26. I Loved this book and the first on in this seiries it was really good when Megs kinapperrs move her to another hidding place because they think that Megs brother Adien had found them. While they are moving down some forgoten interstate meg starts to leave a trail of cloged toliets and pretty soon Adien figures it out that it was meg that cloged them. Before Adien leaves to find Meg his parents find out that Agent Harris was removed from the job with some one with a totally diffrent personallity [...]

    27. As this series continues, there's some shaking up of the status quo. The kidnappers, all having rather different personalities, begin to chafe. Just as importantly, they all have different motivations, which results in some serious disagreement. Why is all this important? When even the kidnappers can't agree on what should happen to the hostage, and if they can't get along that spells either trouble, or hope. In the meantime, Aiden decides to sneak off and look for Meg on his own, resulting in hi [...]

    28. I think this book, Kidnapped: The Search, is interesting. In this story, Aiden is trying to find his sister Meg who was kidnapped on the streets. The action in this book and the vocab words will make the reader continue reading. Kidnapped: The Search is possibly one of the best books written by the author. This book fits in an action genre because when Aiden is looking for Meg and when she tries to escape, these characters are going every man for themselves. The story takes place in Northeastern [...]

    29. ~~~WARNING: THIS BOOK REVIEW MAY HAVE SPOILERS,DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON READING THIS BOOK~~~ THANKS! Kidnapped Book 2: The Search so far is REALLY good! It is about Meg Falconer and her brother Aiden who were on the run from the FBI and police while there parents were in court for treason, in the first book. Now in the second book Meg was kidnapped for ransom and Aiden runs away to find her. I left off where he escaped from the police station while being involved in a teena [...]

    30. Kidnapped"The Search" by Gordon Korman was an exciting book. I thought Gordon Korman did better on this second book then the first book. I enjoyed this book because I understood what was going on and the plot more. The Falconers still haven't found Meg yet. Aiden got scared and really wanted to find Meg so he escaped from the officer that was watching out for Meg and the kidnappers. He knew he had to do what ever it takes to get Meg back even if he had to put his life on the line. Will Aiden fin [...]
